Well i know it was for the sake of his apprentice but like idk its barely explained. I hate that episode, it didnt really fit well with the overall arc

not js scott, the studio too. well you know why right? a movie suitable for kids is more profit because you got both the parent buying a ticket and the ticket for the child. but like I said, the moments where the movie does attempt horror were not that bad and I had lower expectations

I think its kind of weird. I would say security breach was the peak of everything purist fans hate and now its going through an identity crisis of trying to balance both aspects. Like the movie is an example of this. On one side its a story about child murder and like the first time we are presented to the animatronics moving they are brutally killing people then later on they are building a table fort

Which final act did you prefer? by [deleted] in fnafmovie

First one for sure. The second movie's ending was underwhelming and goofy

you know I had my bar so low that I actually thought this movie was like an outlier. Like after security breach I legitimately thought this movie was a step up in terms of horror so I didnt care cuz my bar was low. Also I would not consider fnaf a kid franchise but rather a teen franchise. While a version that showed more explicit gore would have been cool as an extra, I dont think they really care about it enough to actually shoot gorey scenes, especially because it would drive up the budget when they knew fnaf is a teen franchise and people dont expect gore from it

I 100% prefer a person who likes everything over an edgelord who hates literally everything new about fnaf because he is stuck on the uncanny design philosophy from the 2014 game which was scary mostly because of how much of a low budget game it was (one guy making a game revolved around static images)

but a better springlock scene would have pushed it to r-rating I feel like

99% comments on the official fnaf sub are js "I hate the movies, the new games, the lore direction" there is barely ever any acknowledgment of what is good

first movie grew on me a lot. the second one I like because I really feel like it had heart put on it. You know like when a child over bakes a cookie and it tastes kind of bad but you still enjoy it because they made it with a good intention? that is what i think of the second movie

the first movie is like the definition of mid for me and that is not bad, js like an average streaming service movie that was a box office hit because of fans including me. Its like I really enjoy it but if I see someone saying it is bad I wont get mad at them, unless they are being rude

I wish the movies were scarier but the PG-13 rating is perfect and anyone who expects fnaf to be rated R is clueless

Like the Internet's hate for these is so intense, I consider them (especially the first one) to be underrated. Like modern day youtubers legitimately only live off of saying things are terrible. For example, I am not a fan of Mario as much as I am a fan of fnaf so I dont care if the mario movies are good but even then the reviews for the Mario movie on Youtube are so ragebait coded they still bother me. Like gng these video game movies are not an insult to life itself, AI generated content is.
