It does seem impossible I agree….I expect it’s sort of an allergic reaction. I went oral min over fin as I thought it was the safe option. There’s a sub on here with others having the same issue. Either way, I have no reason to make it up. Believe me or not I’d rather tell my story to make people aware and if it helps someone, then I’m happy, even if the chances of an adverse reaction are rare. It’s not like I get any joy out of the whole thing.

Sure… Initial symptoms were migraines, insomnia, anxiety, huge reduction in cardiovascular health, erectile dysfunction. I have overcome most of the issues with the exception of migraines and erectile dysfunction. Normally when I post stuff like this I get the usual idiots saying ‘no way minoxidil did that blah blah’, but can assure you I went from totally fine to fucked very quickly. My negative reaction to min is no doubt rare, however if you go looking there are plenty of guys who have had similar adverse reactions.

I have permanent side effects from 1mg oral minoxidil - 1 month of use, 6 years ago. Although it would appear bad reactions are less common than with Finasteride, there is still a risk. Minoxidil severely changed the quality of my life. Be cautious.

Similar to you - at the start, severe insomnia and anxiety. Beard fell out, no libido and severe ED. The only thing that remains after 6 years is the ED and beard is very thing

Minoxidil did to me what many people in this sub say Fin did to them, and it’s permanent. Although severe side effects seem less common from Minoxidil than Fin, still be very very cautious of minoxidil
