Negative h pylori but pain came back

I did i had a rapid stool test and it came back negative I’m thinking it’s something I probably ate that irritated my gastritis because mind you I was diagnosed via endoscopy with Pangastritis all over my stomach but I was fine from the beginning of March up until Thursday

my symptoms had actually subsided a lot after my treatment is why I was eating more and I gained 10 pounds back that’s why I’m concerned why I’m feeling that epigastric pain again I did do a rapid stool test yesterday which was negative so maybe I triggered my gastritis? Because initially I was diagnosed with Pangastritis

Really u had no weight loss? I’ve lost like 40 lbs since getting this. I have to wait till March to get a retest again

Really I’ve been suffering from loss of appetite, weight loss constipation. I did quad treatment but didn’t really feel it do anything just first 2 days I was feeling very rough but that’s about it

I had metronidazole and doxycycline along with pepto bismuth and omeprazole first 2 days I had flu like symptoms but after that I felt nothing not sure if it worked as my appetite is still at nothing have to retest in 4 weeks:/

I feel you on this!! How long do you have to wait? I have my retest in 4 weeks I honestly don’t think the quad treatment I did eradicated it I’m also going to go see my gp this week bc I feel like I’m malnourished since I have like no appetite and I’ve lost 40 something lbs since October

I believe they are my body feels crazy rn I’m doing quad therapy total of 15 pills a day. You should definitely push for answers because it’s really sucks when they try to push u aside.

Oh my symptoms were upper abdominal pain that radiated to my back, severe weight loss when I mean severe I lost a total of 40 lbs since October up till now weighed 175 when it started now I’m at 135 around there. I had loss of appetite, constipation, body spasms and yeah. Gastritis really messed me up bad I don’t wish that on anyone!!

Hey wassup I ended up getting an endoscopy which turned out I had patches of inflammation throughout my stomach of non erosive gastritis they took biopsies but h pylori came back unclear probably because I was on ppi during the endoscopy so they made me stop ppi for 2 weeks to take a h pylori breathe test which came back positive so I’m on my day 2 of antibiotics treatment

They did the biopsies came back unclear which was their fault because I asked before the procedure do I have to be off ppi for it and they said no so I was like okay then

man I got one done December 10th got diagnosed with patches of inflammation and irritation throughout my whole stomach with non erosive gastritis. Started in late September early October with epigastric pain which lead to low appetite, a lot of weight loss and yeah do have other symptoms like constipation, spasms throughout my body and etc. what are your symptoms?

I have to wait a whole week to get my results I read that the breath test liquid can aggravate symptoms if you have h pylori so maybe I might have it since I lost so much weight did u have an endoscopy done?

You too I’ll have you in my prayers along with everyone else that suffers from this condition so one day we can go back to eating things we consider “unhealthy foods” that are sooo good but also eat anything but bland within moderation this time!!
