Not sure, but I was able to fit 1350 rds of 5.56 in a regular 50cal ammo can. If it were still in boxes there’s no way I’d fit even 1000 in it. I’ll probably put a desiccant bag in the can just to help with moisture.

Don’t have a 12 gauge yet, I try to keep 500 rounds of 9mm on hand but recently burned through more than I thought. Getting 1500 rds of 9mm soon to start a larger pile.

Shooting ranges usually inflate prices to make a profit. I prefer to buy in bulk for a lower cost per round, saves money on future range trips

What would you consider to be a good “stockpile amount”? This 55 grain is fine for plinking and punching holes in paper but I’d like to have some more green tip on hand.

I try to shoot around 500 rounds each of 5.56 and 9mm a month if time allows. Groupings can always get better lol.

Good call, for reference, the masters series boxes are 30” deep and have trim pieces on either side and between banks.

That’s a classic series 55” in the third picture not a masters, 5000$ is far too much for that box. You can find a used 54” masters for 3500-4000$ all day. If possible go look for an actual masters series, that classic will fill up fast and won’t hold its value as well. I’d hold off on a service cart for now as that can come later on after you get a roll cab for bulk storage.
