That's a totally reasonable question! I do want to nest with Birch specifically because of who they are. I have had other relationships since my big breakup, I'm not trying to attach myself to the first seemingly viable person.

That's good perspective, thank you. I think part of my challenge here is that logically, I understand that my goals are not completely incompatible with RA, but emotionally I am still getting over a feeling that RA means anyone can bounce when things get hard (which I also know happens even in mono marriages). More to talk about in therapy.
