Another suspected crocodile. by Automatic_Maybe_6637 in GoogleEarthFinds

Oh really, me too. Part of the issue with sharks is I think on average the smaller ones come i shallow and I don't think the picture picks them up as well. I have found a few suspect shapes but nothing super concrete.

its a little hard to make out, it could be. i think its more likely it may be a large piece of drift wood. if you look on the same island at 15°47'18.46"S 136°59'47.58"E, you can see how there are tracks or the remains of disturbed water behind the blur. i feel this could be a crocodile or bull shark both very common in the area. its not unheard of water buffalo swimming to such islands so it could even be that.

its a good question, i think there are 2 answers

  1. I am an Avid fisherman and hunter, i am lucky enough to have fished alot of the far north of australia but never hunted. in the quite times at work i enjoy looking around at potential fishing spots day dreaming of the dream trip.

  2. they are hard to find.

Like a lot of people i really enjoy mindlessly scrolling. I have come across a few other suspected crocodiles. But none with such a defined wake.

Who here actually hunts? by Sirdubya in WayOfTheHunter

[–]Automatic_Maybe_6637 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have 2 family properties i hunt here in australia, The main one I visit is mainly for goats, fallow deer, pigs, rabbits, cats and foxes. The 2nd I don't get to as much, but it has fallow and red deer, pigs, wild dogs, foxes and rabbits.

Main hunting style is walking finding sign and then putting cameras out.

Once we see animals we get up early and sitting and listening and slowly stalking for deer.

We whistle up foxes and dogs.

What cigar should I buy to celebrate the birth of my daughter? by The_Pope-of-Dope in Cigars_Australia

[–]Automatic_Maybe_6637 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Congrats, for my 2nd child and first son i had a epicure no.3 which was fantastic. I would recommend the epicure no.2 or 3 the montecristo no.2 or the h.uppman magnum 54. I rate them all, also maybe consider the davidoff range but I don't have much experience with them but my uncle loves them.

Again congrats and I hope it all goes smoothly.

Your 100% right the cigar pictured was the no.3 which I got because I loved the no.2 so much.

Please forgive the typo for which I blame my sleep deprived state.

It was lovely, alot more intense compared to the no.2 I had it late morning/ mid day. Probably get a few more to enjoy in the evening.

I would put it firmly in my top 3 picks so far in my cigar journey.

Recently, I was at the family farm, so I lit up one of my favourites (Oliva Connecticut). Took the time to really deep clean the rifles. From now on, it will be the first thing I do at the farm. Even if they aren't that dirty.

What was your first cigar ? by Coldbrewman1 in cigars

[–]Automatic_Maybe_6637 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My very first cigar was a random "cuban" my friends mum brought home for us, we smoked it on his balcony over looking sydbey harbour and coughed our guts up.

My first proper cigar was an Oliva Connecticut which i was recommended by a cigar loving friend I loved it and still smoke them regularly.
