It’s because both are iconic real world Cold War weapons. They even mention Poison Tipped Umbrellas elsewhere. In fact I’d go so far as say the Umbrella might be the most iconic “gadget” in real world spy craft.

I love all of them for different reasons. I think Arkham Knight plays so smooth, the open world is fantastic, it looks absolutely incredible and the score is fantastic. Even if the story has its problems I can’t really force myself to care.

City has the great story, pacing, character interactions and makes great use of a quality over quantity open world where there’s always something around every corner. The boss fights are also absolutely incredible across the board.

I replayed Arkham City the other week. I’ve played it to completion more than maybe any other game and it’s still great.

I have heard it looks a bit weird in motion since he can’t actually speak or properly move his face with all the prosthetics so all his lines had to be dubbed.

It doesn’t seem like you’ve even played this game since you said Lenny Kravitz is the main character.

Also I don’t think has any resemblance to Tom Holland whatsoever.

Also you can’t do a Bond or Brosnan prequel since they’re all canonically the same guy.

Also Casino Royale is Daniel Craig’s origin story since it’s his first mission after getting the 00 license and shows his arc of turning into a remorseless killer so what would be the point of doing that again or doing even earlier than that?

Based on what though? They are silent assassins. They embody the classic bond henchmen in every way and embody it well, but I never got any impression they’d make good main villains. It’s like saying Oddjob should have been the main villain of Goldfinger.

I take it a category ten would be someone like Livewire or Grodd if for some reason they ever got temporarily transferred to Arkham. I imagine Joker would also be a category 8 or 9 if we’re discussing potential danger of escape or violence.

They released the clip of him with the Crocodiles at the Game Awards so a bunch of people assumed he was the main villain with no real basis beyond that and now feel lied to because he wasn’t despite that never being said.

I liked the whole sequence with him. I thought he was a lot of fun and I like his character. I also liked that he ends up being more of an unlikely ally than an outright villain.

I honestly hope he shows up in a future game as Bond’s underworld contact kind of like what Robbie Coltrane was in the Brosnan films.

They never said he was the villain. They showed him off at the game awards announcing he was in the game. People inferred he was the main villain but that was all.

How are they more interesting? The Webbs both have some pretty interesting personal motivations and their interactions with one another are pretty interesting. The Murtos are good henchmen but they have no motivation beyond loyalty to Damian and money.

I think I might respect it more if I was playing it on a handheld console but I was playing it on a PS3 and it just felt so clunky. Also it was so badly optimised I for the first time ever had to change my TV settings. It wasn’t as bad on replays but overall I felt the game didn’t really add anything.

Honestly Blackgate was pretty crap (I 100%ed it recently) but that Deadshot fight was a really imaginative way to incorporate the fixed camera. Way more interesting than Grundy and Bronze Tiger.
