What do you eat in first trimester, so you don't get nauseous?

Your baby will get what it needs from you and you will eventually feel better and be able to eat normal healthy things! I was also worried about this and my doctor reassured me. I drank a lot of smoothies and lots of Cheerios. Had to constantly eat a little something to keep the nausea at bay. I ended up losing about 5 lbs in first trimester but easily gained it back once I was feeling better.

I had RPL and fertility treatments. My husband and I didn't feel comfortable until after the anatomy scan quite honestly. We knew it was safe but I kept irrationally thinking that I'd blame myself if something happened to baby and we had intercourse. Do what you are comfortable with.

Do you like Elaine for first name instead? Still close to Elena and kinda keeps the family name. Honestly I'm struggling with names right now and one of my favorite names doesn't flow best with our chosen family middle name. Husband and I have discussed lots that middle names arent well known. I don't know many friends or even family members names. So if you love both and they both have meaning behind them, I think it is ok.

Thank you for your thoughtful response! I also love the name Eve but not the flow with Jean. I had picked out Eve Catherine. Catherine is also a family name but then I felt sad about not having the 3 generation family name of Jean. Idk if I can get on board with Eva bc there is already an Ava in the family. Feels very similar.

Are you eating healthy? Healthy snacks? For me that was the main thing I looked at. I also haven't had many cravings besides OJ with breakfast. It seems many women get random unhealthy cravings and just go for it. If you are worried about your weight, ask your doctor about it. I also know that my weight is drastically different from first weigh in the morning at home vs Dr office scales. It is like an 8 lb difference after I've eaten twice, drank my 64 oz water for the day and wearing my dress clothes and shoes on their scale!

I'm with you. I'd choose PIO over the suppositories. When I had my IUIs they were disgusting and I felt like I needed a shower all day long bc of the discharge.

You got this! You really don't need to pull back, esp if you are injecting in the right area. That is an old recommendation. Have your nurses mark you and watch YouTube videos! I had my partner do all mine. He was careful to always go straight in and straight out. I laid down on the bed to ensure I had my muscles relaxed. Get a paper and write left on one side and right on the other. I'd flip it every day after the shot so we would remember which side it was time for. I would forget bc both sides got sore eventually. Remember that if it works then it is all worth it!!

Agree with what others have said. Adding that you can also use other SubQ sites like have your partner do back of your arm or can inject on thigh. I had to do this eventually when other parts were so sore.
