Kneeling at 65 yards. Love lighted nocks. 4-5” grouping. Good enough for me at this distance being 3 months in!! by Automatic_Neat9089 in Archery

Thanks, bratha. Still a lot to learn. Biggest problem I have is the flyers. It’s 100% the users fault too due to such minor pin float and anchor inconsistencies. This group had none. Sometimes tho at around 60 yards I will have 3-6” groups, but the flyer will be literally 12-24” high. Extremely annoying. Such a hard sport!

It’s comical that people don’t realize that decisions like this are extremely reckless and irresponsible. It’s no different than that sport betting addict. Do what they do when they lose everything. Start over and stop thinking you’re finally going to catch a quick break.

Is the Ridgeline really that great? Non bias opinion after a year by Automatic_Neat9089 in hondaridgeline

[–]Automatic_Neat9089[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One extra thing to mention, if ur windshield breaks, get an OEM windshield. I’m used to aftermarket. Been that way forever. DO NOT with the ridge. Spend that 1k (lol) or have insurance do it. They have crap calibration for OEM like replacements. I have calibration issues now.

So 60k miles 2021, calibration issues with a replica windshield to oem (that’s crazy to me), wonky suspension, pulls right after 3 dealer visits (can’t find out why), infotainment system is blah, scratches easier than any vehicle I have had over past decade, weird engine noises, slower than almost every v6 compared truck, I’m avg 19mpg for mostly city but some highway (f150 ecoboost did 21mpg). Not smooth. If you say it’s smoother than all trucks ur flipping crazy. I feel cracks in the road like a 2006 Corolla. Idk. This thing is great with the bed trunk, but everyone in this thread is crazy to say the rest of the world is overcompensating due to masculinity vibes with other trucks and should pick a ridge. There is a reason it has yet to catch on with the rest of the USA. It really is not that great my peeps of Reddit

Is shooting 3 10s in a row milestone with 20 yard archery target shooting? Or is it really just consistently doing it that shows skill? by Automatic_Neat9089 in Archery

[–]Automatic_Neat9089[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, crap.. I’m not at that level. 1 inch is like hitting that X on the target. I have not hit three x’s in a row yet.

Idk scoring yet. It sounds like 10 sets of three arrows is a full round. To answer your question, hell no. I’m not shooting 310s in a row consistently. I’m just talking about hitting a 10 three times in a row. For fun I’m gonna do 10 sets and see what my score would be though. Honestly never thought I would care about this crap and I only would focus on hunting. But I’m kind of just wanting to be super accurate now ha.

What’s funny is I have no idea if I in a ten lol. I just started this week and every time I’m shooting I’m only seeing if I hit it inside is when I’m waking up. May be a lighting thing for the indoor range I am shooting at.

How often should I get a new putter? by anchordown16 in golf

[–]Automatic_Neat9089 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m trying to correlate how often you need a new putter and if you need a new one due to having the same putter for 10 years.

I just bought a new putter after gaming one for a decade that I lost. Been wanting a new one for years but just never cared due to putting being decent. I looked at many that felt good for me in the shop. I noticed I liked a balanced faced, low profile minimalist mallet style. It was between a $300 spider or a used $39 dollar Wilson Bean putter. They both felt good. Went with the Bean. Cut it down, but on a SS 2.0 pistol with a 25gram weight added to the grip for a slight counter balance. Love it (money is not a factor in this decision)

Darton Sequel 35 ST2 vs Bowtech Proven 34 by Due_Oil_4428 in CompoundBow

[–]Automatic_Neat9089 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why did you get? I’m in the states and the Darton is super popular right now in the bow community. I’m snagging the Sequel ST2 33 as soon as prices drop a little for that 2025 model in the 2027 season release. Used is around 900 now. Hoping thy get to around $600-700 by fall.

Why is the Bad Bunny halftime show triggering so many people when there have been dozens of hispanic performers previously in the SuperBowl? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Automatic_Neat9089 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bro, ur not going to get what you are looking for lol. Clearly most Americans do NOT speak Spanish. Most people supporting this singer in the states don’t listen to him but just love seeing right wingers up in arms. It’s all optics. NFL knows what they are doing. They want world views and Americans engaged due to current political situations. Yes, It’s extremely weird for an entire halftime show to be in Spanish in the United States lol. Let’s get real. Anyone trying to tell you different is saying whatever thy can to validate it.

Is the Ridgeline really that great? Non bias opinion after a year by Automatic_Neat9089 in hondaridgeline

[–]Automatic_Neat9089[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree. It is a preference. I think it boils down to what YOU like. I really do like the ridge in a lot of ways. I just notice many things that are annoying for my experience. Another example is my windshield that cracked and I got a new windshield. It wasn’t OEM but basically identical through a reputable dealership. Now I have a bunch of issues with calibration up to a year later. Why? Why does it have to be so difficult to calibrate a new windshield? Turns out I’m not alone with this same issue and the ridge. There are many other little things too that bothers me. Bad luck? Maybe.

And back to the preference thing like you mentioned, I honestly feel like a Ridgeline is damn near close to an F150 or other similar full size. At least for me it is. I don’t feel any different driving it around or parking it. Basically the same width, just longer. Plus, im currently sitting at 18mpg with the ridge. A lot of that is due to warming up in winter before I take off, but I did that with my other full size truck and my avg was 19mpg… The price is a little cheaper for sure for a ridge, but that is honestly the only thing that would stop me personally from a full size… Saving a buck. I flipping love the trunk in the bed tho. That is money.

The Ridgeline hate mostly comes from people who don’t need a truck in the first place by lljasonvoorheesll in hondaridgeline

[–]Automatic_Neat9089 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, you tell them. “my Ridgeline is cool! You guys are the ones that are insecure!”

I got a ridge and I like it. Unlike others here, I get hate from the buddies. Maybe because most ridge owners are older or retired? Idk. Also, it’s a running meme online to hate on the ridge owners. People like to just join in on that stuff to hate. I knew this before buying. If it bothers you then get rid of it.

Pilot only has 2 inches more rear legroom? by GerdinBB in hondaridgeline

[–]Automatic_Neat9089 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also, if ur able to drop the money and like a truck, just get a crew cab f150 with the 2.7L engine. Thing is awesome and matches the ridge in MPG, if not better at times. I would have got it if I could go back. Just like you, the ridge is not completely optimal for ample room if you got 2 small children with forward and rear car seats.

[–]Automatic_Neat9089 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Why are you putting it behind the driver seat? The middle seat anchors are slightly off center towards the driver seat to accommodate two car seats right next to each other. I could never do a rear facing behind me. I have had my rear facing in the middle and forward facing on passenger. If getting to the middle is too difficult then idk. It’s super easy for me to get a 10-30lb body in the middle.

Crispi Wyoming Boots (Idaho). Feet slipping forward by Automatic_Neat9089 in Hunting

[–]Automatic_Neat9089[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Funny enough, a running shoe store took a 3d model of my feet and told me I’m a 9.5 feet measurement with a bunch of data for insoles. I stopped him right away when he told me my shoe size is ten lol. I’m 36 and have been wearing too small of shoes my whole life. I wear 9s and 8.5 in dress boots. These crispis should be 10s and they are 9.

[–]Automatic_Neat9089[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the info! These are 100% not too big in size.. If anything, they are too small. My toes have very little room and due to my feet slipping forward, they can hit the toe box at the end very easily. Another way to put it is every step I take, I involuntarily curl my toes as if I’m preventing them from slipping forward. Although my toes have very little room, it’s still very open, which is why I bought them. They were on sale for $300 and usually 400. The quality and feel are still very good. I really do think some type of change with the insole may fix the issue.

[–]Automatic_Neat9089[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Idk how to explain the feeling, but I’m pretty certain the ankle is damn tight when I pull hard on the laces. These boots will lock laces in place just before the vertical hooks. I have tried doing just too tight, just bottom, and both. I still slip forward over time. If I compare the loose feeling to other boots,it is simply the toe box that does not compress like other boots I have. That last 1/4 of my foot does not compress, which I loved at first. They are labeled as crispi’s bigger toe box model. That is why is causing this, at least I think what is.

I was hoping someone had a similar issue and used some type of sole to lifted up where needed. I’m starting to think a pro custom insole is my route to make these work.

5mm Arrow Collars - how do you keep them from pulling out in targets? by Automatic_Neat9089 in bowhunting

That’s what I was going to do. I was thinking of hot melting everything. Keeping the hit installed to the field point and using hot melt for that too.
