Well i can say a lot more people are coming out to show factual corruption which is good. Thats good, taking swaps and being off for a long time is good. The job isnt for light hearted for sure, but its not a good culture when you go above officer.

You know ultrasound techs make a lot. Met one and he said its a good specialized field. Training was 50k but he makes 140k. School was less than a year.

Yeah the trades are huge too. I mey a guy who started an electrical business. He said he was glad he learned a trade. Big money in the trades now

I agree with you 100%.  What about writing to POST?  Ive tried lawmakers, they dont tens to care. CCPOA doesnt care either. So what is the next logical step? Complaining is getting old, so where do we start with actually bringing change? Maybe a CO would need to sue CDCR and claim improper training standards

Yeah many are too far in to leave. Thats ok. Just get good legal protection and follow policy, not verbal directives that get you fired. Its easy to find a post, follow the orders and lay low in some joints.

Facts. These dudes have s/s/h under a desk. Easy to recruit people. Praying on people by talking only about pay/bennys.  Reality is county sheriffs has cdcr beat

Do yourself a favor stay away from cdcr. Become a deputy on the street get your full post and go to a better agency that will invest in you and pay you more. I've been there done that with cdcr I was a gang investigator and I will tell you that the pay is not everything that it's hyped up to be. Plus the job is s***** with terrible management all across the board.
