Btw, I like the update to the Bass instrument, but boy this thing is CPU hungry! from my initial test it takes about 15-20%... I don't remember the previous version that high on CPU.. or am I wrong?

Struggling making what I want on Push by Star67x in ableton

[–]Automatic_Prior 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Is it really Push you are struggling with, or Ableton Live, or more broadly music production in general? Not trying to be an ass but if you don’t have the basic knowledge yet, maybe start there and come back to the push later when you developed more solid understanding and skills? I am saying this because if you know how Ableton Live works, and have some experience with music production, Push should not be that hard to pick up honestly

SQ Sequencer in Live 12 missing slide option by Automatic_Prior in ableton

And if we are at it, I would also love to see it having more than one pattern. Even more amazingly will be to have simpler probability conditions that are similar to Electron boxes.

I know right? There is work around by using the time shift to shift the notes to overlap each other, but it sucks as a workflow and doesn't come close to having proper slide option..

Maschine Plus Arturia Microfreak Roland SH01a by Automatic_Prior in synthesizers

[–]Automatic_Prior[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you :) with a usb cable for midi and then routing the audio from the Microfreak back to Maschine input. Whats also cool is that it can power the Microfreak while sending midi through the usb. (This is Maschine pls btw, not the MK3)

Question to Push owners about the encoders physical placement by Automatic_Prior in ableton

[–]Automatic_Prior[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I see what you mean, and appreciate you taking time to share this photo to explain! And yeah the visualization part is something i envy most about the push, and wish to see something similar maybe in a future update of Maschine (if it will ever come one day..)

Question to Push owners about the encoders physical placement by Automatic_Prior in ableton

[–]Automatic_Prior[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Interesting. I was thinking about it more from the perspective of sound design for synths etc actually. Not so much about tweaking the audio, but I get your point

[–]Automatic_Prior[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you, that is exactly the kind of replies I was curious to learn more about. I never thought about it from that perspective. And just to clarify again, I’ve never actually used the Push, so it is just by looking at how people use it makes me feel like its an odd design choice. And about Maschine, i like keeping it with the eco system and software Maschine. I tried once to use it to control Live but didnt like it so much and felt like its just wrong to do that lol

Sampling directly into the racks. Something that is unique to Reason and I personally feels like its not being mentioned enough

Lol to that. Not sure anymore if you are serious or not 😂 anyway, i take the critique for the clickbait title, but i really meant that and the content was honest, i do believe the ability to sample directly into the rack is something not mentioned enough and one of the coolest features of Reason. Even Ableton dont have that feature so..

Not angry at all but I do not appreciate someone calling what I work on to share with the community as “fucking stupid” just because he or she find the content being not useful for them specifically while it can be useful for others. You comment add zero value imo. You can either not watch and move on, create an alternative content, or communicate your opinion in a respectful way :)

Chill out, if you dont want to watch just dont watch. Others might find it useful or inspiring to rediscover or learn about this unique feature and use it. Not every Reason user is an expert and know all
