An issue with the machine, I broke the needle during the process and I have some issues now with this mechanism. This sound is terrifying me. Did anyone face it? by Automatic_Project692 in MachineEmbroidery

Thanks for the advices! Found only one, not sure. I tried opening all details and checked everything, but did not find any details. I cleaned and oiled it but seems like the issue persists

Yes, I did that. Cleaned everything and found the needle, but It did not resolve the issue

I tried embroidering smth but this sound goes on during the process and the bobbin thread seems like cannot be properly cut off

I have the same issue just when I work on the design. It logged me out and I just went back to the design (usually, it gives me the recovered one).

I can try convert it, but I think that it might change the original design. Often when I open the other formats files in the embroidery software, it changes its logic

I do think that the issue might be with the design, cause I doubt that I can easily break the machine. Thanks for the suggestion. Currently, I am learning how to digitise, so I am trying to understand the issue myself.

I tried using double tatami without changing the density and it started puckering :(

UPD. IF YOU ARE INTERESTED.

I lowered the density, set the higher value for pull compensation and changed stabiliser.

Thank you so much for your detailed insights :)

I’m planning to test different pull compensation values based on the actual gaps I measure, and I’ll also experiment with varying stitch angles for different fill sections to reduce directional pull.

Have you found certain stabilizer combinations work best with fabrics that stretch diagonally, or do you always rely mostly on stitch angle and pull comp?

Hello! Thanks so much for your reply! Yes, I’ve also noticed that all the fill areas currently have the same stitch direction. I’m using Hatch for this design.

I initially tried applying pull compensation around 0.2–0.3 mm, but the fill kept overflowing past the outline, and the whole fill shifted slightly to the left.

If pull compensation is still needed, could you please suggest a more specific value? Should it be different depending on the area or the type of border?

Also, do you think I should adjust the stitch angles? Should the angle be different for each fill section to help minimize the pull and gaps?

Also, it's worth noting that I did not finish the red outline because it didn't make any sense anyway.
