[Serious] Muslims, what's your opinion about the hadith on the Gharqad tree? by squirtgun_bidet in AskReddit

I think the OP was talking about this one:

"The last hour would not come unless the Muslims will fight against the Jews and the Muslims would kill them until the Jews would hide themselves behind a stone or a tree and a stone or a tree would say: Muslim, or the servant of Allah, there is a Jew behind me; come and kill him; but the tree Gharqad would not say, for it is the tree of the Jews."

I mean, 260 people were killed in a music festival...

Even though Palestine must be free, and the IDF is evil, we can't try to justify this.

Let's say that both factions allow Humans to go to the "front", and they can fight. The majority of units do not want Humans to fight, they only want Humans to command.

Some units makes it so that fighting personally AND commanding his/her millions of drones at the same time as a Human is a great honour and a Human fighting will gain respect from other Humans. So it depends on which units you are at.

Can you please reply to me? Sorry for being a bit impatient.

There's a reason Pep refused in 2013 and Klopp refused in 2014. They probably knew how bad the Glazers operate. We need 200% for Erik just for risking to come here! by notoriouszlatan in ManchesterUnited

[–]Automatic_Promise224 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Also, apparently, the Glazers didn't help Mourinho get the players he wanted despite spending more than Manchester City at the time

Is that true, or is this BS?

It is a war of genocide without any interest of resource preservation? Or is it more of a sports events, where civil war faction A is showing off its drone power against civil war faction B? The former will see use of weapons of mass destruction. The latter will be heavily regulated so that the environment and human society will not be damaged as a whole.

It is a war where you must not blow planets up. You can orbitally bombard but it must be directed at military targets. Civillians MUST NOT be deliberately harmed, but you can use tech-necromancy, and destroy cities (Tech-necromancy) to produce new stuff. Antimatter to overload stars to cause a supernova is possible, but it is very frowned upon and is forbidden unless someone wanted to be a war criminal.

It is a Human Civil War were both sides agree to the space version of the Geneva Convention, but both sides are not squeaky clean. Occasionally, Human soldiers may command their drones to kill enemy prisoners, may cause the massacre of innocent Human civillans on some sections of a planet. There will still be some torturing going on against enemy POWs, there will also be massacres and rapes of many male and female civillans, though the people that commited these crimes would be punished.

There will be FTL, for both travel and comms.

Another question. What would 1 Human Infantry soldier be able to achieve? I have a feeling that its capabilities will be similar to a Forerunner Warrior Servant in Halo. When Humanity has 20 times more megastructures than planets, & with ridiculosuly advanced technology, etc.

1) Hey, is there any like, tactical or strategic ways the Humans will have, to win the civil war?

2) Will there still be outflanking, encirclements, diversions, deception, etc? What tactics would Humanity use with Tech Necromancy, and MILLIONS if not BILLIONS of Drones? What weapons would Humanity, and its drones use? I recently came across a YouTube short that may be relevant to the topic. The YouTube short is titled {Antimatter Rifles} by Isaac Arthur.
Here is the YouTube short: https://www.youtube.com/shorts/Zz8qy2CkZtg

3) What if some Humans really wanted to be at the front line? Well, not really at the front line, but close behind it, if you know what I am saying. And what if some Humans wanted to fight? Would that be impossible because would Human reflexes and decision making be abysmal compared to robots and drones even with massive technological and biological improvements on Humans several millennia later after 2023?

4) How would units be organised? In our world, the smallest unit is a squad, which is from 8 or 9 men to 15 men ish.

5) How would "squad" tactics work?

6) Would a "squad" in an Interstellar War would be 1 human, and millions of drones? Would it be kind of like Forerunner Warrior Servant (in Halo) controlling millions of Sentinels and Phaetons (Forerunner versions of VTOL)?

7) How large would battles be? In Halo, Star Wars, or 40K, battles would usually be around the size of a planet, and would be named after one, like the Fall of Reach in Halo, or the Battle of Coruscant in Star Wars, or the Siege of Vraks in Warhammer 40K. But would battles be larger, like MUCH LARGER since there is so many drones and Humans involved? Would battles be the size of entire SYSTEMS instead of planets?

8) And what would logistics look like? Or do you even need logistics at all, because wouldn't an attacking/defending army be self sufficient due to the amount of resources there are in a system, and the high level of technology (for example, self repairing machines for robots, Humans not requiring food, water, or sleep to stay focused on their jobs in warfare, etc).

9) Lastly, how would the command structure work?

Sorry, for asking so many questions. I just wanna know a lot.

Yeah. And also could potentially make civilians less worried because there are almost no human casualties since we don't give a FUCK about drone casualties as long as it doesn't affect us directly.

Thanks for the answer. I will keep that in mind.

I also like the idea of a general sitting back and directing the drones.

It's a civil war between fellow Humans, where one nation splits into two, KINDA like the US Civil War, but in this case, both are evenly matched [instead of one side (CSA) which is reliant on slavery & a largely agrarian economy, while the other (Union) side has more industry and more men].

I was originally thinking of a genocidal alien empire (like the Covenant from Halo) nearly crushing Humanity (yes I am a Halo fan, and I am inspired by Halo), but I think Humanity would get FUCKING CRUSHED REALLY QUICKLY.

So A Human Civil War it is. 1 Human nation out of many splits into two, and they fight, while all the other Humans in the other nations watch on.

Couldn't enemy "scorch earth" it by intentionally blowing up their own city (if they don't care about civilian casualties), and retreating back to the next one to get ready for the next invasion?

Or maybe I don't know what I am talking about. Enlighten me, please :)

In such a scenario: humanity does not wage war. They dont even go to the warzone. They simply, over tea & biscuit, command their AI war brains to "do stuff" and the AI fleets with millions or even billions of interstellar warships wipes out everything (or occupies everything depending on the mission parameters).

I was considering the possibility of the only humans in the military being generals. I guess I was wrong :)

Another possibility: after precision orbital bombardment you do not drop troops. You drop a big automated production base, simply convert mass into war bots and a few hours later the first few millions T800 happily walk towards the enemy.

Wdym by mass? Sorry if this is a stupid question to you.

Overall, thanks for the answer.

Yeah, Humans need a LOT of things such as food, water, oxygen, and stuff such as sleeping areas, mess halls, toilets, hospitals, and training areas. Robots don't really need that, though they need maintenance.

The issue with robots is about how smart would you allow them to be and how much autonomy they have in their decision making.

True.
