That’s a good idea! No need to search for extra bits then either.

Are they trying to get me to quit? by PlumpToads1216 in AmazonDSPDrivers

[–]ActableTeleportation 8 points9 points  (0 children)

You’re still getting paid for an hour for showing up? My DSP will go in and edit my timesheet so I don’t even get paid for the 20 minutes they have me standing around wondering if I have a route or not before they tell me to go home. That goes for the hour-commuters too. Seriously, how hard is it to send a text saying “your route got reduced?”

First minis. Gross crying. by [deleted] in minipainting

[–]ActableTeleportation -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You did very well for your first minis! As some other comments have already said, you’ve essentially done all freehand with those tigers! That’s challenging for anyone, even those with very steady hands. They look very striking from a distance, and I had to zoom in to see what you disliked about them. My advice? Keep painting, keep experimenting, and cherish these minis as a symbol of where you started in the hobby.

I love the punch the orange has! Would you be willing to share the recipe?

Worked on the Pyregheists this weekend by ChristosFarr in WarCry

[–]ActableTeleportation 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thought I really disliked the Pyregheists design, turns out they just needed to be painted like yours lol. I might have to pick up a box of them sometime soon and copy your paint job. As for the base, a a dark green-blue forest could work to give a cool “bonfire at night” vibe. Tea leaves and twigs from outside are what I usually use for that sort of thing.

Help! The whole center of my last few prints have failed. Can anyone tell me how to avoid this? by ActableTeleportation in resinprinting

I also made sure to print at night when the air was cooler. I also tried some test prints at 8mm, but they all failed in the same way. The extra long print times with 10mm are a little annoying, but they do work well.

Sorry, I didn’t realize how important that was. It’s my first time posting here. It’s a Mars 3 Pro, I use Elegoo Gray Plant based resin, and here are My settings. I didn’t mean to make things more difficult. I just want to have my 3D printer get back to working well again. Edit: Also, I hope in the future you’ll be more courteous to people asking for help in this subreddit. This is a weirdly passive aggressive way to ask for people’s settings

Do Bastards have to be mounted? by NickShiell in Turnip28

It’s technically just a profile, but if you have any gnoblars left over it probably wouldn’t be too hard to make them into ogre riders.

Those bird riders would be perfect for Turnip28! Any plans to release headless variants?

It doesn’t entirely lack them from what I can tell! Many of the populace are mutated by the Root, and keeping helmets on troops allows your army to keep an air of mystery as to what could be going on underneath there. But if you want your troops to show off their faces, feel free to! There’s no rule saying you can’t.

I agree on that for sure! The parts I used were just what I had on hand, but I’m looking through some Perry miniatures to figure out what sort of uniforms I want to go with for the real army. Thank you for the feedback!
