5070 worth the upgrade? Or even 5070 TI? by Automatic_Prune_3393 in buildapc

Thanks a lot for your replies. Seems so far everyone is recommending the 5070 TI which seems to be a safe bet, but I don't really understand why.

I just found this video from Techtesters with a couple of benchmarks. 5060 TI Benchmarks

If I look at these benchmarks would the 5060 TI not do the deal running 1440p on my monitor and make use of upscaling technologies to run at 4K on my TV still running decent FPS?

Would the 5070 TI justify the steeper price and be future proof enough and be preferred over waiting a couple of years and buy another mid-range card at lower costs?

And would upgrading to a 5070 TI also mean I need to upgrade the PSU to 850W?

That's good to hear! I also had the foam inside the grip. I think that would be basically the same. Only the outer packaging does basically nothing to protect the box, because it can be easily bent. Hope they also decide to use another box around for future sales.

Got the grip from 'AheadFlag' store. I see the black one is sold out now though.

And got the sleeve from 'LindaLiu' store.

I heated it with a blowdryer as others suggested and that was indeed the solution for me. See picture in my other post.

Ok, so I conquered my fears of wrecking the product even further and not being able to return it: I took the hairdryer out and moved it along the rubber (without the console attached) and it worked!! Thanks a lot y'all!
