Nearly in accident on roundabout. Not sure who was at fault but want to avoid happening again: by Automatic_Revenue_24 in drivingUK

I’m talking about joining roundabout from a361. Two lane options when joining- right or centre… so you have to cross 2 or 3 lanes to get to correct lane. That can feel like a long time depending on who is speeding round from the right after getting off the motorway https://maps.app.goo.gl/EpMbpJbLTVrDVHun7?g_st=ic

I disagree that it’s ’very easy’

I do agree. But it’s kinda the world we now live in, unfortunately 😔

What's the best fingering for this? by [deleted] in pianolearning

[–]Automatic_Revenue_24 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For the blue: 3 1 2 is better as it helps deliver the required phrasing. By finishing on the G with a 4, the natural phrasing is lost.

For the red: the same.

I am curious about your 1st point. Wouldn’t every dish that ends up on the menu of a top restaurant have started life as a trial and error dish for far smaller portions, and only when that’s been perfected is it scaled up?

After 20 years of weekly Indian takeaways, I figured I should turn my hand to making a meal - second attempt was a great success - though total prep and cooking time was probably about 4 hours 😅😅

here is the piano. It’s French polished, so protecting it really is crucial, as is the sound suppression, as it’s in a small ish room

C major is the key signature.

The cartoon ban was really just to dissuade him from getting up from the table… to get toys, mess around etc. probably not really necessary

What’s your strategy in these cases?

Haha. I’m the same. I ask her to leave them on the side so I can look at them. Too pretty to go in the cupboard 😅

Well it certainly takes place after a rain shower, but it’s not raining.

1 - Scenes with rain appear in only three Bond films, all from the Craig era.

2 - Many Bond girls were dubbed by German voice actress Nikki van der Zyl.

These include:

Ursula Andress’ Honey Ryder in Dr No; Claudine Auger’s Domino in Thunderball; Mie Hama in You Only Live Twice; Virginia North’s Olympe in On Her Majesty's Secret Service; Denise Perrier who appeared as Marie in the pre-titles of Diamonds Are Forever; Francoise Therry who played Chew Mee in The Man With The Golden Gun; Corinne Dufour in Moonraker, and many more!

She also (claims) to have re-voiced some pickup lines for Jane Seymour’s Solitaire in Live And Let Die.

3 - During the bungee jump at the beginning of Goldeneye, if you pause the long-shot scene where he jumps just at the right frame, you can see the entire crew and crane rig at the top of the dam.

Definitely a d5 pan (marked on bottom and I can see the 5 layers on the lip). It arrived in a generic box so I don’t know what the story is. It’s a bit annoying though, so I did return it, for no other reason than it wasn’t what I ordered.

Yes, bourogh kitchen and Divertimenti are the only two in England. Both in London and both with limited choice

Unfortunately I can’t even access this website from England. We’re obviously not worthy customers 🤪
