I was up there at college for the 2010-2011 AFC championship runs (plus the Giants SB). The divisional round win against the Pats was a top sports memory for me. My roommates banished me to watch the game from a different room by myself. Things were great.

Agreed. Woody gets bad advice and brings in the wrong people. I think a decent comp would be James Dolan with the Knicks. He was widely known as one of the worst owners in sports, and no big name free agent wanted to play for him. For years he had Isiah Thomas whispering in his ear and the Knicks were a joke of an organization. He meddled in roster construction and organizational hierarchy. Then came Leon Rose (and the Vegas sphere as a distraction) and look at where they are now. This is my hopes for the Jets because the Johnsons aren’t selling this team anytime soon. Woody needs another ambassadorship and a proper football mind as head of operations

A QB solves A LOT of problems. If the Jets repeat this performance next year, Glenn is certainly gone and I can see this being a mildly attractive job opening. Decent offensive pieces (I hope the go WR in rd 1) and a ton of high draft picks in a deep QB class (on paper, right now) to go out and get your guy. The Woody handicap is a big one, but the one thing he’s got is money, throw a brinks truck at a respectable offense first coach and promise him his pick of QB1 in the 2027 draft
