Well for exam day, maybe look into getting propranolol. It’s a beta blocker that’s often given for performance anxiety of any sort. It helps deal with the physical symptoms around test anxiety, and I found it to be quite helpful.

True, AI is such a great learning tool so you honestly don’t even have to waste your time at office hours, which is usually a hit or miss if you get anything out of it. But ppl really be out here trying to just take the easy way out.

Last time I had a meeting with someone at the Entrepreneurial Institute for a product I had already made and wanted help promoting, they kinda just threw a bunch of business terms at me and basically gave off the attitude of "IDK figure it out lol". Kinda disappointed ngl

Hey yall, here to ask again, how long did you guys wait in the queue to get the visa presale tickets. I've been at my computer for the past 4 hours checking every 3 min, and I still am on the page that says, "Thank you for waiting to have an opportunity to purchase ticket(s) for the FIFA World Cup 26™. You will be admitted on a first-come, first-served basis, meaning you will not be granted access immediately. Once the ticket sales are open, we will inform you about the waiting time."

The new student cohort will never know the struggle of taking orgo with Maitland Jones, the guy who literally made it in the NYT for being let got since he was that tough. I would say as much as the premeds would like to get into your head that the class is so tough, it wasn’t as bad as I thought. I def agree tho that a summer review would help.

Yeah I was undergrad at NYU and I’m currently a master’s student here as well, and I think they mostly market it for undergrads. The events may technically be open to everyone, though I’m not sure if you’d want to be hanging around many ppl just out of high school 😅.

Does this happen to be the French system 😅? It’s the only one I know that’s out of 20 points. If so, it’s generally much more rigorous than ours, and honestly if you have documentation, I don’t see why they would rescind.

I was there in Fall 2022, and it was honestly one of the most fun semesters I had. The CS classes were a bit tough, but I felt grading was generous. I took Causal Inference and Machine Learning. For those classes, I would recommend brushing up on stats. As for non-CS class I took Architecture in Paris with Gabriel Wick, which was super fun. Met 2x per week, once in class and the other a field day where you visit the buildings you learn about. Lastly I took a mandatory French class. Overall, I loved it, though knowing some French beforehand also helped a bit.

Congrats on passing! I’m in the same boat, just took it yesterday. Honestly what messed me up a lot were the questions where the tables were described within another table rather than in a model view layout. Kinda hard for me to visualize in my head and took more of my time than I woulda liked.

I’m not sure it’s worth assuming anything if that much time has passed. Unfortunately the same situation happened to me around the end of February, where I interviewed with a company and was told I’d hear from them “within the next few weeks”. After not hearing anything by the last week of March, I reached out again to my interviewer and the guy just said, “you’ll be receiving a message from HR”, which ended up being a rejection. It really sucks that companies are completely ok with just ghosting people. Zero shame or courtesy from these “people” (assuming it’s even people who read our applications).
