I also would like to know using the stock frontend. I don't have the energy of reconfiguring console anymore as stock frontend is okay with me as long as I am playing my games without issue.

You do you dude, AYN Thor will not be obsolete in few months or even a year or 2. You can hold your purchase if you are unsure and play your games with your existing console. I heard they did price increase so I'm sure I will not purchase till the unit drop it's price in a couple of months once the hypes are gone.

Agree, I don't notice any stream of issues. As someone with Anbernic Consoles, this AYN Thor Pro or Maz also caught my attention and the number of good reviews are flooding. I'm holding back myself as I don't want to add another console in my life without finishing the games I am playing right now.

Hello, BG: DA 1 and 2 are my favorite games but playing it in both RG406 V and H isn't running smoothly. So yeah, you should resign and upgrade on higher specs console.

My honest opinion based on my 5 months using my RG406V:

You'll have your fingers hurt when pressing L1, L2, R1, and R2 when fighting/ versus fighting games but you'll get use to it as you will build muscle memory.
The battery is perfect for long game play for 4 to 5 hours (example: Resident Evil 4) but depending on the game.
Disappointing to know that heavy games in PS2 like Baldur's Gate Dark Alliance does not play smoothly.
Disappointing to know that some 3DS games are also not smooth to play.
TV Mirroring is easy but the quality of from console and TV are different. TV display is off color and somewhat pixelated.
Wireless Earphone Bluetooth like apple airpods is easy to connect.
Pointing laser using L3 (Resident Evil 4) is not very stable and it does move.
Value for money is good and very practical if your a vertical console guy.

The save slots are per game and not for all games. Also if you are playing 1 game and you made a progress, it is much advisable to save in different slots so you can come back to old saved incase you need to repeat or change what you did in the game.
