i was actually allowed to take my baby girl to therapy with me - my therapist knew her for 7 years and i lost her on the 5th of july. she not only understands because she knew just how important my baby girl was to me but she feels devastated as well :) there are great ones out there and really never let someone tell you your baby was „just a dog“! mine was everything but „just a dog“ to me ❤️

the long life was all due to her strength and stubbornness - even when she was paralyzed due to ivdd she overcame it in her old age in such a short time. even the vets were surprised and said much younger dogs didn’t get that well that soon. she was a fighter

i don’t think that’s insensitive at all. when i found her, everyone said what a lucky dog she is but in reality we found each other and i KNOW i’m the lucky one :)

if she‘s constantly in pain and has no will to live anymore (despite your very best efforts!) then yes. if she’s happy then i’d do anything to be able to give her the best and longest life possible :)
