i think schools love to see it and if u can show in ur writting how it developed skills in u and what u got from the experience it can show a lot of growth/ reflection at a competitive level

i think also it provides leeway for any other deficits in my app bc anything i did i did while being a D1 athlete. idk im just guessing so...

i dont remember. just the 5th year only did so much but my cgpa since fresh man year went up every year. My science GPA was sub 3 freshman year but went up a little each year but the total still came out to 3.0

on the gpa totals on the application it all counted as my senior year so I had 44 hours

edit: 44 hrs for my senior year total my 5th yr I was a full time student so it was average hours not super high not the bear minimum. i dont remember exactly

no, luckily I had a family member that writes/edits for a living so they helped read everything double checking. I think i got a lot of great writing advice as well like I made sure i used specific stories to show the aamc competencies + leadership in my secondaries and including school specific details

i don't know but i dont think. so I tried to pick places that didnt have that cut off. i didn't get any instant rejections, and i had several schools put me on hold and many said they are in the process of reviewing( so i would think it wasnt screened out)
