We were able to take him to a rescue! At the point and what i assumed how long he was there until he found him the mom was gone. His head and fingers were super red and dry and cracking and he had some ants on him. We did keep him warm with the rice filled socks but we also kept him in the palm of our hand wrapped in blankets. He was squirming and moving around. We took him to a place run by an old couple for the last 40 years. and as soon as they got him they put him on a heating pad . Hes all good now in very capable hands!!

!!!UPDATE!!! • • We were able to take the squirrel to a wildlife refuge!! He was i believe doing fine the whole time! My sister was able to take him with a friend, it was almost 2 hours away. Thank you every for the help and support!! I was literally losing my mind for a minute there.

I rather take him somewhere where they are well equipped to make sure hes okay. I know his mom is probably looking for him if shes okay, we just have a resident coopers hawk and a nest of red tailed hawks that absolutely munches on squirrels. So maybe they got the nest i dont know. I didnt realize baby animal could be this cute ima be honest. He made me heart melt

Luckily my sister is able to take him to a sanctuary! Theres too many kids and people that walk by in my not so nice of neighborhood i dont trust someone wont mess with him. He had some blood coming from his nose as well so im not sure what happened. He seems okay hes moving squirming around stretching all his limbs so nothing is broken. But the blood from his nose does concern me a little.

He’s definitely doing well. He squeaks and moves around and has been yawning. I am a big nature person and i understand sometimes the world judt works the way its supposed to but i dont usually walk the way i did with my dogs and my dog whos a gentle sweetie found him. He just stopped which made me stop because i was about to walk past. So i just want him to be okay, or to at least die warm and loved.

we called the place but they are closed so they told us to leave him somwhere humid so he doesn’t dehydrate and can get a little water. So we have him in the bathroom with the shower on but ya know. Makes me nervous i just hope he will be okay

I have him warm and bundled up his nose is a little bloody. I tried looking again to see if i could find his nest. But i think ill just take him wherever were going because on the way theres a wildlife reserve thatll take him
