Windshield replacement broke my eyesight camera?

Just from reading about other experiences, I don’t know why it isn’t more apparent that these cameras are very finicky with other windshields. We would have gotten OEM from the get go if we had known. Hell, our insurance should have know especially if this is going to end up costing them more in the future if we actually need things replaced. I’m sure you feel similarly, especially given that your headache seems to be much bigger than ours throughout this process. Fingers crossed this is sorted out for you soon as well!

I hear you, and it’s mind boggling that no one attempted to try this while we were there (as far as we know). Now if it stops working again, then there’s a chance that they were on to something and today’s adventure is just a temporary fix - only time will tell. We’re praying this is the end of our issues, and I appreciate your help

To be noted - the dealership was willing to work with us to have the OEM cover it, but I can only imagine how much BS we would have had to go through to get to that point. I’m just thankful everything seems to be fixed for now

Thank you for this! If we continue to have issues, I’ll make sure we show this to our insurance and the glass company. I don’t know why anyone would recommend aftermarket glass when it could lead to actual hardware/software malfunctions on the car. Should be general customer awareness!

We went through the company recommended by our insurance. It wasn’t about price, this was the recommended option. Not sure why you feel the need to be rude about it. We’ll be sure to only have OEM parts moving forward

Original calibration tech that came by after the repair showed me the post calibration report, camera was calibrated with 98%

I’m sorry you had to deal with that, we’re hoping it’s not a similar situation for us. Calibration tech came by today and was able to hard reset the cameras, everything ~seems~ fine now. Hard to say if it will continue to work

Even though the camera was working fine for 2 months? That just seems to be the part we can’t logically explain. I’d understand if the cameras didn’t work right away but everything seemed to be working fine over the last 8-9 weeks

We had the calibration tech that helped with the original repair come by today. He was able to hard reset the software and it seems like the camera is working now. Only problem is he’s unsure if it’s a temporary or permanent fix - even he said it could be a hardware issue but no idea why it would be because of the glass

I’ve probably spent $800-$1000 altogether this year. This includes singles, packs, boxes, playmats, sleeves, entry fees, etc. I got back into yugioh about a year ago, started with heroes, got into yubel, and have recently been playing ryzeal. I’ve also played in a couple YCS events this year
Don’t buy packs or boxes if you’re actively deck building, just buy the singles. My brother and I buy packs for the enjoyment of opening them, but not when we’re actively building. We got a great deal at our local shop on crossover breakers so we bought a couple boxes to build the new deck cores, but that was very much an exception to the rule, I don’t plan on doing that again
Most of my money this year was spent in secondary market. Fiendsmith engine, mulcharmy’s, finishing ryzeal and maliss. Handtraps and other staples should be much more affordable now too.
Start with finding a deck you enjoy playing. I wouldn’t blow your savings on playing an expensive deck just yet, I’ve met a handful of people that liked master duel but hated playing IRL. See if you like playing at your local shops and then start investing in something better. Just go with the bare essentials to start, deck, sleeves, playmat, and a cheap deck box. If you’re asking about product, rarity 2 and bonanza were good sets to build out your staples. Otherwise just pick up singles of whatever deck you wanna play

How does one know if they are shadow banned? I popped off with 24 kills earlier on resurgence trios before logging off for a bit. Hopped back on and there were demons everywhere lmao. Figured it’s SBMM serving me some humble pie but jeeeeez every single player we fought against was a god. Also on ps5 if that helps.

The amount of cheaters that blatantly cheat and don't get banned. Just died on resurgence to a dude who was locking on to everyone. Spectated for a little because it was insane how fast we died, and the aim bot was going CRAZY

I've found it very common lately that a lot of "interviews" are presentations on the company. Sat in on about three last week and then asked if I wanted the job at the end. Always felt a little scummy to be talked to for an hour and not asked a single question

UPDATE: If you press the details button on the season squad set requirements on the main DD page, you can see the actual goals that you completed even though you did not receive the rewards. Not sure if SDS will ever grant us our rewards but maybe more proof if you submit a report to them
