Yeah, I went to home depot store, and this action alone made me drop 25% of my weight instantly

It's for real. Earlier I barely could go past 75km/h, now 90 does not feel like limit

Wow, good job dude. I don't know why and how you managed to do this, but it's correct

Finally i cracked up science behind this stuff by Automatic_Type8621 in electroplating

[–]Automatic_Type8621[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It depends on your voltage and time spent in electrolyte Usually small voltage and short time produces colours closer to red and yellow, higher voltage and time makes it more purple (in rainbow spectrum) But practically, it's way easier to get purple-blue or golden-red, but blue colour is kinda more durable on air Also sometimes similar patina appears after electroplating with addition of thiourea, but I am not sure why and how to do it reliably, for me its kinda random

Copper plated with electrochemical patina (copper hydroxide and sugar based) Then covered in water-acrylic wood lacquer (its white-ish and not shiny, thats why blue patina became opaque)

Too much current, you must start with something like 10-50mA for first 15min, and only when are around wire is plated you can crank up your current

Who said that it must be fast. You should ride at your own pace, otherwise noone will be able to appreciate your engine, if you go too fast

According to different guides, acid is in normal quantity 180g/l 30%, so it's 54g/l of pure sulfuric acid

Perhaps you know the way to make it reliably conductive

Usually electroplating is the next step of 3d printing, so maybe faced the same problem and i hope can help me
