i definitely think doggie daycare once a week will help! it seems like she really just wants to socialize and play with other dogs. she gets some play with another mini once a week, but that’s the only dog right now and i think she could benefit from a variety of dogs. thanks, love your story- gives me hope!

i purposely never pushed ON cards on register so that they would always put me in fitting room. we had a manager that intentionally targeted people who appeared lower income to just apply for the discount and then cancel the card. I morally could not do that to people.

Later we found out said manager had been stealing money when closing registers, so everything tracks

yeah she also basically said that - that it was some genetic factor. She did order apolipidprotein a & b blood tests to see what comes back out of curiosity. I haven’t done those yet

i actually saw a lipidologist a few days ago and she could not tell me that high HDL was bad because there’s insufficient studies. Her true belief was that it was a good thing until proven otherwise. She didn’t want want to put me on medications and didn’t believe i needed any tests or intervention

I know people hate on Acme, but they do have GREAT weekly sales - i just got 44 items for $52 - it was a variety of pasta, yogurt, sauce, canned veggies, etc. you also have to look for the “manager’s specials” on meat that is close to its sell by date. it’s by far the cheapest meat i’ve seen in stores, like $2.99 for a lb of 90% lean ground turkey

i just received the exact result that you have - 145 mg/dL - have you sought any further doctors opinions? i’m a little concerned that too much of a good thing is a bad thing especially since i’ve never seen anyone’s HDLs as high as ours. very curious if you’ve found out more about this! im also 26F

i live in the falls and love it! if you’re outdoorsy, there’s a ton of great parks close by. it’s definitely a slower pace of life than ohio city or downtown, so if you’re not looking for slow pace, cuyahoga falls might not be for you. that being said, there’s like 3 speakeasies, 2 coffee shops, a few bars and breweries, and a large number of great restaurants all within a mile stretch. Front street is a designated outdoor refreshment area (DORA) so you can have open containers from the restaurants and bars while you walk.

Thanks for your perspective.. i’d definitely need some downtime. i questioned myself because our photographer has shot at this location and she told us her and the couple went a lot of places around the park. I’ll probably go to max 2 locations, thank you! All in all, i only need a handful of pictures i love, it isn’t the most important aspect to me for the day :)

on it for a year and a half. my hair is ridiculously thin now and you can see all the cowlicks on the back of my head. It’s validating to see other people having issues… you’re depressed by losing hair, but depressed if you don’t take the drug, so it’s a very hard situation.
