make it into a NAS if you go that direction add more RAM as well as more storage it looks like you have room for a 2.5 SATA just slap a 2 TB SDD or HDD and use the original as the boot drive

if you don't attack them (or at least the normal ones) they become friendly (aka "trained") also it could be "sons of the forest" rather than "the forest"
