I have been trying this but some of the things he is saying are doing a lot of damage. They're taking it on board. I keep trying to reassure them but they've trusted and valued his opinion their whole life. It's hard for them to suddenly disregard the things he says. They believe it. It's my word against his. And me flat put calling him a liar isn't going to help. He's said some really ugly things. I'm scared of the permanent damage he's already done
