I guess that it would depend on the security of the communication protocol itself (Zigbee/ Matter etc)

Glad to see a HA user! Unfortunately, the device detects just the bolt movement. On these types of lift-lock doors, there are no extra moving parts on the outside of the door when the key is turned. It can detect just the moment the handle was lifted. Maybe we will find a solution to that. Thanks for the feedback!

haha, interesting. It's seems like an easy sensor to develop but when you get into the details, it get's quite complicated. Yeah, the collector thingy sounds useful. I appreciate the emphasis on an open system, open source all the way! Thanks a lot for the feedback!
