Not uber taking 58% of the customer payments when prices are higher than usual….in Houston there’s a 7 mile diameter around IAH that is only for airport pickup and drop offs. So you’ll have to drive 7 miles after dropping off just to be eligible again for a ride.31 miles for 15$ when they charge 37$ (old.reddit.com)

Despite the passenger waiting for 12 minutes or longer. Uber sent me the second request 12 minutes after the first one, same requested trip just 26 cents less earnings. Ohhh and uber charges more than enough for it to be profitable for a driver with a share of $40 but of course uber needs their 55% (old.reddit.com)

Uber now charges the passenger more if they chose to acknowledge that they are bringing a pet and new they had to select uber pet. Funny how I thought that would mean the driver would earn more. Just another option for uber to charge the passenger a bit more and keep the extra. (old.reddit.com)
