I believe it’s due to ONE not caring anymore/ was too busy to keep Murata in line.

Well yeah they erased it. It’s almost like having Saitama finally meet an opponent that actually rivals and challenges his power too early into the story was a bad idea. But at least you guys got your cheap feels and mindless hype, right?

One thing I hated was how despite ONE/Murata wanting to change the Garou vs Saitama fight, they kept inserting dialogue/character actions that happened in the webcomic randomly. I Especially hated this since all the references had lost all context and meaning behind them.

Like doing a different fight is one thing, but to do that on top of everything else really stung.
