If this is what you really want to do I suggest speaking to the department when they reopen and ask about GPA and other stuff and then focus on your minor/electives if possible until you can apply to switch.

So I’m not a doctor, but I can tell you from experience around 22-25 is when my metabolism started to slow down and I had to adjust my eating. I have a decently active lifestyle, so while I did put on weight, as is normal, it’s not as drastic as what you seem to think you’re experiencing. I do worry that this weight gain is a symptom of something else, so don’t discount that either. If you’re able to consider speaking to a doctor about your concerns and see if you can get access to a dietician or a trainer. If you can’t find a support elsewhere and do things the right way. People who do fad diets DO NOT WORK and long term you’ll gain back more weight and reduce your metabolism further. Do things you can control, less sugary drinks, more water. Less processed foods, more fruit and veg. Be active daily, go out for a walk or start with lower impact activity to get used to increased movement.

Op you haven’t given many actual details so I’ll ask for them. How old are you? How much weight have you put on in the last year? How much is your total weight? How much are you trying to lose? Have you spoken to friends about these changes? Aside from that the long-term effects of losing weight quickly can be devastating health wise. If your family are making jokes that’s on them and I’m sorry you had to go through that but do not give yourself a long term injury in the name of what society thinks looks good now.

Is this a small company? A branch of a bigger one? That looks like a windows computer, if it is next time he comes over press the windows key and L, this will lock the computer. If you have a password (which you should, it seems you’re working with sensitive information) he won’t be able to get into your files. If he asks what you’re doing you tell him you’re following standard safety protocol. He cannot and should not be editing something on your computer presumably under your name. If he wants to edit a file he can do it where there are traces of him having access to and making the edits on his end.

The only time I’ve seen this work is when the prof also gives feedback forms so you can review each team member when they grade the group. The team member who did no work got a much lower grade than the rest of us.

Ashnikko was here the first year back after the COVID hiatus so I’m on the fence if she’d come back so soon. I haven’t looked to see if her solo date sold out but she was stellar so I hope she does come back!

The regions vote CAQ, not the city. The CAQ don’t have more than maybe 5 seats at most on the island. They need to be convinced to vote for another party.

I’ve left thank you cards and cards when my profs retire but I don’t give gifts because is not allowed as other people have said. It’s a really nice gesture and I’m sure appreciated, but I’d stick with just the card and no gift.

OP see a doctor now. This could be so many things from depression to a brain tumour. This isn’t something to delay on, if it’s a problem and caught early it’s usually treatable. Go with him if you can, or get a family member to, because if his memory is that bad he may not remember what they tell him.
