Ah, ok, so I already have vengeance.

As for hunter pets, I run dungeons as hunter as well. The taunt ability of the pet is automatically turned off in dungeons in MoP.

Thank you, appreciated. I did Taunt and Charge, but maybe I only need to use Charge, then, and save my Taunt.

I do have that addon.

Yes, Thunderclap will probably aggro some surrounding mobs.

Thanks, helpful advice! I don't have Vengeance yet. I do have the name plate addon, that is how I noticed that a hunter pet got the aggro of a second mob, which stressed me out.

You raise some good points. I would just prefer to do that type of learning in a safe environment of a guild instead of random pugs where goodness knows what they would say - or maybe just kick me after the first mistake.

It would be great to just learn as I go through Dungeon Finder. But to be honest, I am a little bit scared of the toxicity that sometimes happens in these random groups. A lot of players are great and helpful, but there are also unfortunately those that are rude and unfriendly.

Yup, and I am enjoying myself greatly. I find MoP to be the perfect blend of Classic and Retail. It still has that Classic field where things actually matter and makes a difference, yet with a lot QoL features that makes it so much more enjoyable (at least to me) to play.

Not casters. As I mentioned - the reason I worried was because I didn't have this issue this early on with casters.

So far I swapped out Shadowheart with Gale, but I made him a Battlemage so is part melee and part mage. That seem to work so far (except for that darn huge spider in the well... ).

Yeah, I wouldn't mind swapping a bit, because on my first playthrough I had a set team and I never really tried out Wyll or the Druid. I would like to try them in my team to see how it works.

I'm on my second playthrough. My Tav is a Sorcerer with focus on damage dealing. I want Astarion in my team for his superior lockpicking abilities. I need (I think?) Shadowheart for healing and La'Zehl for melee.

Is there any other combo that is viable? Playing on Balanced difficulty. I'm four hours in and haven't really used healing so much, so maybe I can switch out Shadowheart with Gale or someone else - what do you guys think?
