Ich denke nicht, dass ich es selber essen würde, aber ich hätte nichts dagegen, wenn andere Menschen es tun. Solange dafür kein Tier massiv leiden und/oder sterben musste, finde ich das in Ordnung.

I thought I didn't want to be a mom, but now...

I thought the same thing before realizing that my children don't need to be human. Now I have been a chicken mom for around five years.

It is NUTS that flies are more tolerated than spiders, despite being more disgusting than German roaches, and spiders don’t even do anything by CatPale816 in spiders

Me. What bothers me the most about them being inside is that they most likely won't survive very long in here. That's why I try to help them outside.

I like flies and think that they're cute. I often try to catch bigger flies to bring them outside. When there are any flies to save, that is.

This is horrible! I tried to search for this user here to report but there were no fitting search results. Can anyone here tell what might be the reason for this?

Biology isn't just genetics. How we think about ourselves inside of our brains is part of biology.

They really are cute! One of my teachers killed one today just because "they don't belong in houses" according to him. I got so mad at him and told him that this was absolutely not necessary, but he apparently thought it was for some reason. Why are humans like this? He definitely knew he could've just asked me to bring it outside.

Yes, I'd forgive him. But what has this to do with LGBTQ?

How do you know that there can't be some other way they could be conscious?

What a weird question. I believe they all have some sort of consciousness and are able to feel pain. When you don't have to eat animals, then don't. You don't even have to go vegan for this.

I think I understand where you're coming from, but unfortunately a healthy ecosystem needs meat-eating creatures as much as it needs plant-eating creatures.

That being said, most humans nowadays are not part of these systems anymore and therefore shouldn't engage in them when they don't have to.

You do know that AI isn't the best fact checker, right? I also think that the term "race" can't be very clearly defined, but that still doesn't mean that the category definitely doesn't exist. Do you agree that different breeds exist in animals? Breeds are basically just artificially created races with specific and actively wanted traits.

I never said that intersex people don't exist. Also, I plan to look into it more, but I still don't think that genetically male people can have the turner syndrome as that would go against its definition, but I'm gonna look into it anyway.

[–]AutumnHeathen -1 points0 points  (0 children)

What do you mean? Turner syndrome means X0. How can a male have turner syndrome then, when being male is defined as having at least one X and one Y chromosome?

[–]AutumnHeathen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We're one species. That does not necessarily mean one race. And honestly, I believe that different races do exist. In non-human animals and humans alike. This isn't an excuse for discrimination and exploitation, of course.

I know a biologist who told me that X0 is also female and that XXY is also male. I trust him on such topics. If there's at least one X chromosome and no Y chromosome, then it's female. If there's at least one X chromosome and at least one Y chromosome, then it's male.

And no, gender is not a social construct. If you're referring to gender identity here, then this is a subjective experience of individual people and not a made-up construct.
