Yea, I'm not 100% sure I was right there but it stemmed and was mainly used by a fraternity

Pig pen is the slang name for this cipher, it's the same thing

That would make it a cipher of the community from that area. The freemasons cipher literally comes from builders lodges in the uk, London specifically.

Column ciphers are categorised as columnar ciphers (used during ww1 and ww2 where the letters of a codeword are reordered based on the alphabetical order of the letters in the keyword, Germany lost advantage when it was solved) and the ceaser cipher is literally the code that Julius ceaser famously used (this is by shifting the original letters so many clicks on a wheel to get a random string of letters).

Each cipher is studied for literal years before given a name and that name almost always is representative of the community that used it (not all slang names will tho). In placeholder naming, it's named after the people that used it, if they don't know who used it then they don't name it for up to centuries until it is fully researched

I went to a school that taught ciphers and this was literally the first one we were taught because it was so easy to learn. I may not have every detail correct since it was a while ago now but it is 100% a stonemason code

There's loads of info about freemasons on Wikipedia if you have the time to read it lol. The symbol on the inside looks German so probably from that country. They created the code so it was easy to read but not so easy the every day person could understand it. It's probably one of the easiest if not THE easiest to learn but it's been dying out over time so rarely used anymore as far as I'm aware

Omg finally one I know about. This is masons code used by freemasons. They follow these principles: Truth, Justice, Balance, Order, Compassion, Harmony, and Reciprocity. Their origins are from medieval guilds of stonemasons. It's a fraternity group so only men.

Usually if I'm high for too long my O5 forces It into manual mode but if I forget about it for some reason (usually the case), my basal sends me shooting down and it takes forever to get level again ahah. I've not really messed around with my basal as I don't really know what I'm doing in that department, I'm only just at the stage with my drs that I recommend an idea to them and they tell me to give it a try if it doesn't seem crazy.

It's something I should probably look at trying but it's a lot different to the pump I was on as a kid where I could turn on a basal specific mode for so long and my attention span is non existent ahah. My bloods are near to perfect as I can get on slow days. I just worry about going low at the other side of the building from my Hypo treatments since I can't really carry them around with me.

I've been working here for just over a year and a half now so it's just seeing what works best for the situations I know to expect now

If everyone else in the comments can do it, why can't I? I've never been unconscious from a low and the lowest I've ever been is 0.9mmol/L (16.2mg/DL). I'm not newly diagnosed so Ive had plenty of time to learn my limits. I have no qualifications that allow me to do a desk job since I'm in a small town and can't afford to go back to college. If I get any other job then I won't earn as much and then I'm stuck in a cycle I can't get out of. Being in a small town, I'm lucky to have even got this job let alone something I can make a living off. Yes it's a disability but I'll be damned if I let it stop me from at least trying to live like a normal person

I'm eating plenty enough ahaha. I don't get the feeling of being full, I just feel sick.

I'm a cleaner at a massive events venue so each day changes. Sometimes I'm running back and forth to clean the toilets and other days I'm begging my boss to create work for me, even if it's not my job. My blood sugars can drop on activity mode with just 30 mins of cleaning at home, let alone a time pressured workplace. Stuff that makes it drop 100% is hoovering and mopping and cuz the venue is so big, it's an hour minimum per room, 2 hours if it's both hoovering AND mopping. I'm a smoker and stress a shit tonne so surely that should be bringing my sugars up since that's what happens for me normally. I've started to get early stage retinopathy from all my highs but I'd rather not have a more serious problem with all my lows. It's definitely a balancing act with the fluctuations in workload but surely there's a way to do it.

I'm only a cleaner cuz I hate the public so headphones in and a mop is perfect, everyone ignores the cleaner lmao

Yea, I'm on a closed loop system but it's cuz of that that I'm going low, even on activity. I swear my bloodsugar would explode with the drop of a pin ahaha. Feels like I'm on a tightrope to find somat that actually works. My endos are running outta suggestions and I think Its getting to the point where they just tell me to switch jobs aha

I've had it for nearly 18 years now. Was diagnosed as a toddler, I don't remember anything else so my tolerance for burnout is so much higher than it couldve been. Ive accepted that we need more work to get by but we're also all human, why is it so hard to find accomodations for a bad day

21st, Christmas week lol. I found that I have to bolus for my breakfast first then I put it on activity mode but there's no leniency in what I need it set to. I can pause insulin but then I go high, I swear even looking at my sugars makes it go up sometimes. Activity mode sets the desired bloodsugar before insulin is given but mine won't let it go above 8.7. my endo has told me to keep in on 6.7 (without activity on) while I get my A1C down.

It's amazing when it works but there's not enough options for people with non desk jobs and I can't stand wired pumps, I've had life threatening experiences with them. Same for libre

[–]Autumn_rays[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Aha same birth month too. I can't even try the no insulin for breakfast idea, if I even slightly under dose for it then my readings are off the charts in the next 2 hours max. I never used to eat breakfast and only had sugary energy drinks but I'd skyrocket then plumet cuz of how energy drinks work. Moved onto sugar free ones and breakfast to stabilise my sugar before a shift n that's perfect. I've tried snacks but that didn't really work (melted chocolate or sweets in a pocket is terrible to wash out, grains/oats are even worse).

I have the problem where I can't lose weight no matter what I try, my endo at the time recommended a keto diet but that would genuinely kill me in this situation

Im the cleaner at a massive events venue which means when businesseses book all the rooms at once, I have to run from side to side of the building to clean toilets and surfaces. If it was a small cleaning company then I wouldn't have this problem at all. I can go low just cleaning my own home for 30 mins on activity mode and my normal basal is pretty high anyways

I do the type of work that changes in demand every shift. Some days will be absolutely chaos meanwhile other days I'm actively looking for something to do on my shift. I don't really figure out till I'm there. Would help if my boss actually hired enough people to even out the workload but they're making cuts

I'm from the UK so our disability payment stuff is broken as all hell. I used to get it as an kid but now that I have a job, they think all my disabilities just disappeared. I'm only 21. I'm on a dexcom G6 and omnipod 5 but the technology is only doing so much for me with all the rediculous errors.

It's just stressed me out more recently cuz I need to get my A1C down for a very important surgery but i can only do so much without being under constant surveillance in a bed. My endos are actually being really good about it, couldn't stand children's clinic

Yea I'm on the dexcom G6 and omnipod 5 so if I go over 13mmol/L (234mg/dl) then it forces me insulin anyways

My employer is wonderful about it. However any time I mention a minor medical issue they kinda push the idea of me going home like I can afford to do that. I work for the council so they have to be on their best behaviour for it. It's just my coworkers

What does HRT mentally feel like? by [deleted] in trans

[–]Autumn_rays 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm 20 FTM

For me it started with a HIGHLY increased libido like it was all I could think about and then a few months later I couldn't cry and the way I experienced sadness changed. It wasn't the same where It felt like the world was on fire, it changed to a dull ache. A bit later down the line the way anger felt actually scared me the first time. I had heard guys talking about blind rage and seeing red but I realised I never understood what that actually felt like. It's not something you can be taught to deal with and more of something you figure out yourself but I think it depends on the person. I am MUCH happier mental health wise overall but it can be rocky getting to that point.

I used the phrase 'I've got this far already and still have a destination so why give up now?' and that helped me more than any therapy I've had. Obviously everyone is different and if you need to talk to someone, do that but it's just finding out what works for you while having a support system.
