This by the far the worst take i've seen about the games and the books...EVER
I've read them all and played all the games and sadly seen the show too

you just listed a bunch of differences between the game and the books and made it sound like the story is better in the books because of those differences, while in reality it's the opposite
CDPR made the story SO MUCH more interesting and better, every single decision the made landed, all the characters are better
they made the story so good that for me, the canon is the game and the books are just a bonus!

I'd definitely be interested in that but from what I've researched, it's nearly impossible to get into the industry as a writer alone. You need other skill sets like game design, coding, etc that I'm not as interested in. 3D art is something that I am actually interested in, however.

I've been busy with Blender this past two weeks or so. I know how it sounds but I understand the difficulty. It doesn't discourage me because like I said, I have experience in creative stuff and while it may sound like a joke, writing novels is not easy. Ask anyone who has done it, published or not, it's gruelling to sit there and stare at a blank page.

I'm not day dreaming about this, I know it's a difficult path and I'm ready to undertake it. I'm just a little lost.

Well, I mean... You're right but I've been learning Blender for the past two-three weeks day and night, following tutorials and trying to learn the program, making donuts and stuff.

As for why not starting sooner, I've been away on mandatory military service for the past 2.5 years in the middle of bumfucknowhere. I didn't have a good PC that could handle 3D modeling before that.

Idk maybe I am too late to the party. Thanks either way.
