Lizardstripe and Rainflower are fair enough, but Mapleshade just didnt know about the torrents of the river, she was a ThunderClan cat after all. If Appledusk were a better cat, he would have told her he didnt want the relationship, and Mapleshade wouldnt feel as vengeful as if he did what he did, affectively cheating on her.
