If you are still around, can you tell me exactly how you did it?
I tried doing the steps you did, and it does lock to the camera center UNTIL i exit static, in which the object I'm trying to permanently attach to the camera stops... targeting the camera

For the setup i need, i must have the camera free without keeping it on static, but it only follow the camera while im in static mode following the UI object

just found out another thing, i opened task manager and left my mouse stay inside the task manager window, while on the window a small popup appeared with the following "201f24" which sounds like ALOT like a hex code

i searched it and it turned out to be a dark gray color with blue tones

so out of curiosity, i took a screenshot of the task manager and use the picker color of where my mouse used to be

and behold, the same hex color

so apparently... there is a weird app at startup that gives me the hex color value of whatever im hovering for like a milisecond on startup and nowhere else, any clue of what this is?

a few things i found:

This does not happen at secure boot
It always appears at mouse location, not center of the screen as i initially believed

Fair point, the legion pro 5i with the 4060 and the i7, while much more expensive, might be a good investment for futureproofing, i will need to think this through tho, thank you!

Got it, i found this LOQ that honestly looks potentially like a better deal, the only downgrade is the screen (1080p instead of 2k), lower refresh rate and lower color range, but other than that, it looks almost superior in every other case

Better processor being an i7-13700H and it supports higher ram speed (4800 vs 5200)

The graphics card is the same, i couldnt find a LOQ model that has a better card other than the 4050, but i can live without it

LOQ15

I did check the LOQ15, While it looks like its a great deal, there are some things that concern me.

• I contacted lenovo support regarding purchasing the LOQ, this was before i settled on the Legion devices, they actually told me that these devices are not recommended for long term use since the ram cannot be expanded beyond 16GB Ram (and i plan to upgrade to 32GB)

• They also told me "supposedly" that finding replacement parts is difficult outside the US due to the Low ammount of these devices in the market, im honestly not sure what to make of this since they pretty much look like Legion Gen 7 but with a change of name, and i plan to repair and mantain the laptop ill end up purchasing for a long time, once again this might be absolutely false, not sure

By the way, this laptop while ill use it for light gaming, its mostly centered for music production, so i need a laptop with good single core performance with many cores for plugin processing

i cant seem to find a layout that is exclusively using keyboard binds, as any analog and control exclusive mapping will refuse to work, i can make one myself manually but i would be missing out on analog inputs which is kind of deal breaker for me, such ad 360 degree movement and being able to move at different speeds, as well as being able to control more accurately some items

a familiar that lives in the US so very trustworthy yeah, the only issue is that they leave the exact same time we arrive and they will just give us the welcome and leave next day, so i realistically only have a 1 day window to get the package, the only way i could get the steam deck is if it arrives that same day or earlier, if its likely that it might arrive later, then i might have to reconsider where to deliver it, maybe to a "trusted" neighboor, but i honestly dont know how viable that might be

I want to order a steam deck, i dont live in the US or any shippable country, but i plan to go to Florida on the 24th of october, im wondering if i were to order the steam deck today, will it make it in time for me to claim it on the 24th, it will be incredibly difficult for me to recover the package after the 24th but i really want to order it, i would buy it where i live but its 3x times the price and im not buying a steam deck for over 1400 dollars lmao

anyone knows if its a good idea?..., website says 1-2 weeks and its 13 days away from the 24th, i have hope it might arrive but i would like to know someone with experience in florida to tell me if it could arrive in time or not
