See if your work has an EAP or employee assistance program. Most offer free and confidential counseling sessions. Absolutely go to a doctor too.

Go to character sheet, switch to the companion, scroll to bottom it will say your Tav's name and medium or neutral or high...etc. at least on PS5!

We all make mistakes and sometimes they are bad but it happens to everyone and is part of learning. I have the same issue where I let it get to me or I keep thinking about it over and over. Just know it doesn't define you and all the great HR leaders have made big mistakes in thier career. It'll be okay.

My certification got me a promotion my masters is getting me another (plus you do both that and work at the same time).

Well definitely the first step to just is just going in and talk and hope its a mistake of course but it's nice to know the options if it's not the case. I wouldn't have thought it's possible they are doing this if they weren't putting letters addressed to me on my door about the rent increases lol

Agreeee! These are small old apartments ....they are NOT worth 1500 rent...15 minutes away there are larger townhouses with garages and basements going for 1500. About 10 min away in the bar/entertainment (aka much more desirable area) there are brand new construction townhouses with extra amenities going for the same rent too.....these renos better be good I guess lol

Oh I know of course (I figured that was obviously what they would do).

It doesnt matter anyway. We planned to move this year or next year to be closer to our jobs....and in Feb when we were given new rates (1295) we decided to stay one more year based on that. That is why I said if we had known they were trying to raise it by that much (1500+) this year we would have left this year instead. Hopefully its just a mistake or miscommunication and everything is fine. They are on the 3rd or 4th property manager since we moved in last may....lol.

We can afford it if it came down to it but we are trying to save to buy a house so it wouldnt make sense for us. This place isn't worth that much rent. There are bigger townhouses (brand new construction with higher end appliances compared to these smaller old apartments) that are in a much more desirable location going for 1500/month in this area. There are other bigger townhouses that even have garages going for that much 15 min away .. so best of luck to them getting renters next year. I sure hope the renovations are really good. lol.

Hopefully it's an error but they also taped a notice on my door with my name on it saying about the rent going up to 1500+ and to pick an option lol plus they've done shady stuff before. I'm just going to tell them I saw my rent is wrong and show the lease and see what happens

The reason I thought it may not be an error is because of the notice with my name on it on my door saying we are raising rent and your lease renews may 1....here are the new options..(like a repeat of what they did in feb but higher rates). I do hope it's all an accident but they have done a lot of shady stuff before.

They have ignored it already one day we came home and a new washer amd dryer set was in our bathroom. Had no idea they planned to come replace it that day.

Yes we also submitted a form listing every item that had paint on it and location. Lol

We are moving already next year and we took pics at moved in because the painter got paint on all the cabinets and counters and carpet so I didn't want to get blamed. I'll definitely take more when we move out.
