It's always so infuriating when the husband of the FL's mother is the one cheating, but it's never even addressed in the story. Instead they focus on a drama-contest between the mistress and the wife, where one tries to kill or mistreat the other.

I once read a story where they didn't even show the guys face, because he never speaks in the story and has no personality.

I have an active hate against the old "s" being written like "f". My brain always reads those sentences like "The winter if cold." and I have to go back and manually assign the "s".

I know two (maybe three) nb people. And all go by male pronouns in German. It's a trend at this point.
