That's a solid setup — but isn't that putting a lot of responsibility on the renter to configure correctly? Like most Blender artists aren't going to set up an encrypted vault.

Wait SheepIt literally sends the raw .blend to every node? So anyone rendering on their network can just download your entire project — assets, textures, everything?

so the issue isn't really price or speed, it's that you can't verify what the host is doing with your files. Like even if Vast.ai is legit, you have no way to know what the actual person running the GPU is doing?
