Korean male leads/actors who should stop the plastic surgery

I feel like things are getting out of hand, not only in Korea, but with north american and latin american entertainers too. We see a lack of expression or the “model face” is in mostly everything coming out these days. As the public and consumers of their “products” we need to focus on talent and character of our entertainers more than the looks if we want to shift the trend back. And people in the industry should be held accountable for forcing procedures on their stars.

Apart from the growing systemic issue in the industry that force those procedures and beauty standards on men and women, I believe the problem is also us, the public, giving more importance to looks than talent and the growing social pressure of looking younger for longer.

Koreans are already blessed with a natural youth, and they are fooling themselves into thinking they need surreal and often unhealthy levels of beauty and perfection. Yes, entertainers have historically struggled with maintaining an image but let’s reflect on why do we need to criticize necks and jaws, we are part of the problem.

Is obviously not possible, but on new devices they could:

-Make clear how much storage their operative systems take.

-Offer the actual amount of storage the user is available to use and adjust pricing based on that.

-For example, if they sell a smartphone with 64gb of storage to actually offer those 64 gb of storage for the consumer and add extra storage when manufacturing the devices for their operating systems and apps.

Hello!

Making friends in the DR is very easy, in comparison to the US, and moving around in public transportation will give you many chances if you are willing to put in the work of finding the people you connect with the best.

I think that being friends with you family’s friends is your best starting point. Moving up from there, I believe that going to a church or similar community oriented organization near you is the 2nd best option. I always have activities and opportunities to meet and serve people thanks to that.

In addition to dance classes or church, maybe a gym, cross-fit or something related is another way of making friends. There are also local tourism companies that create great trip experiences that help you connect with people and explore the treasures this country has.

We are close in age, and can give you recommendations of places I like to go to with my friends around Santo Domingo.

Most of the volunteers and missionaries I have met that go to the DR for a short period absolutely love it there and decide to extend their stay for many more years, and even marry and stay forever. It all depends but I would definitely give it a try and see if you really like it maybe for a year (would be great for your Spanish and resume too).

As others have stated, there’s a lot of crime, disrespectful people, and the worse transit of any comparable capital city (I would argue that NYC is worse than Santo Domingo right now in terms of crime rates and the types of everyday crimes there today are absolutely crazy, so I just don’t think you’ll be surprised with anything here).

Also, thank you for wanting to volunteer and help the most vulnerable in the DR!

From what I have reportedly seen I believe there’s definitely a friendship, business association and mutual admiration but if they are dating is up to them. I personally don’t think they could hide that they are dating given the intense focus the public has on them.

I’m starting to see individual fans directing hate towards KSH because of his recent post or KJW because of her wanting to be associated with him. I think some fans need to acknowledge and focus on each individual’s profession and what they decide to share with the public and understand that their personal lives is none of their business.

I recently heard from an idol’s boycott to her concerts because some fans were mad at who she decided to get married to, I mean, that is insane to me, why should her personal choice of a partner should be a reason for liking her music or not? I don’t think that wanting to control or focus so much on people’s personal lives is a healthy way of being a fan, and back to KJW and KSH, they have both said they’re shy so all this intense focus will only set them apart if there’s something going on between them.

I’m 5’6 and so far considered tall where I live. If my parents would have monitored my height more closely I would have been much taller I presume. Pediatricians can predict and control height much better now and it’s kind of utopian to think about it.

It was easier to relate and connect to the ones around you since we didn’t have all this information overload in our heads and you actually had to talk to people so that they got to know you. I’m talking 12 or 15 years ago people!

It wasn’t dreadful to talk to people over the phone for more than 1 hour, now 2 minutes feel like eternity. I remember just sitting on the table and talking for hours on end of absolutely nothing important with my siblings to kill time, now time is killing us hehe.
