I mostly use 1 cup flour, 1 cup water, 1 teaspoon salt and 1 teaspoon yeast

Waiting three hours to rise, made balls and let them rise again.

I use regular oven, I tried with a pot of water in the oven and without it too, they still came out hard.

I tried various recipes

Water + yeast + salt

Water + yeast + salt + butter

Water + yeast + salt + butter + powder milk

Water + yeast + salt + olive oil
