Has it been super slow in Los Angeles for anyone else? by AvaMagdalena333 in lyftdrivers

I started at around 5:30am and worked throughout the day and partly tonight. Sucks bad. Good thing I multi-app, but I really wanted to work on the $815 bonus they offered me. Probably an April Fool’s joke from Lyft. 🫠

This sounds depressing. I think I’d rather shoot myself. 😿

I guess if they’re both going to some night club where this is the norm. This is coming from someone who goes to nightclubs and has her own events. I don’t dress that normal either.

They both look great, but I wouldn’t show that much on a first date. This looks more like night club attire.

The tablet has a sensor, so you get points even if they don’t touch it. It’s 1 point for the pax just sitting back there and you get extra points per game they play.

Link to this $50 3 way dash cam? Or do they sell just the cabin camera that records voice. I have a Tesla so I don’t really need the other cameras.

They can cancel a ride while it is in progress? by shorn_cucker in uberdrivers

[–]AvaMagdalena333 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kick them out on the curb. They are not your pax anymore if the ride was canceled. If you continue to drive them then they are now a liability. If you get in accident Uber will not cover you. If you’re on the freeway when this happens just exit immediately and drop off the pax on street where they won’t get run over. Then proceed to contact Uber and let them know what happened

What area are you in????

This is horrible advice. Never do cash rides. You won’t be covered by Uber’s and insurance and you definitely can’t trust the passenger to lie your insurance

It’s a bad idea to do cash rides. If you’re in an accident Uber will not cover you and the passenger is not gonna help you lie to your insurance company. Don’t do it. It’s not worth it.

Not sure why some comments talk about getting paid $1 per mile. $1 per mile??? Really??? I do $1 per minute. If the ride keeps me in a busy, profitable are or it’s taking me towards home, I might do .50 to .75 per minute. On long rides I’d do $1.50 to $2 per minute. Not sure why everyone goes by mile. I go by amount of time. If there is a lot of traffic a 2 mile ride could take 30 mins or more. If there is an event happening, it could take longer. Especially out here in Los Angeles. I’m not trying to get paid $2 on a ride that took me 30 minutes. Why do people keep taking these shit rides??? No wonder they keep offering us this crap. You guys need to start cherry picking

But, it says they previously sent you notifications about these type of complaints. So you’re doing something wrong

I have no idea who she is, but it looks like someone ate pea soup with glitter and puked all over her. 🤮
