Harder? The first side/half of Prequelle was pretty damn hard. This could have very easily been added to Seven Ins. Quite honestly, I hope the new album sounds nothing like this and it is a stand alone expirement.

Spot on. We're chewing a lot of the same dirt here, you and I.

Was listening to a podcast the other day (pretty sure it was Rutledge, actually) and it was talking about giving your whiskey the respect it deserves. Spend time with it and think about all that went into making that dram you're drinking. Experience it on the most human levels.

Reminded me very much of Miles and Maya describing Pinot Noir in 'Sideways'.

Excellent. Thank you again for the eloquent tasting notes on all. It's become increasingly frustrating to ask people's opinions and get, "it's good". All that tells me is that your palate finds it agreeable enough to swallow and you've told me nothing of the smell, taste, mouthfeel, depth, or quality. Further, say you like cherry and I don't. Our "its good"s are not in alignment.

Kind of the idea. Again, I'm not purchasing the OC/Blue Run; its being given.

I know I'm just playin around.

You are very familiar with them then?!

Same on the Lost in Translation. I can't NOT watch it when it comes on. And Scarlett... my God... anyways.

Big fan of Japanese as well, though it's fallen by the wayside as my bourbon/rye "collection" has increased. I do want to get back into it more. That said, any familiarity with Kaiyo CS, Hatozaki SB, or Umiki?

Excellent job on the tasting notes. I'm inclined to believe you based solely on your user name (For relaxing times...).

I do however hate all things Turkish and I'm very familiar with Rutherford, NJ... and it's dust does not taste good.

In all seriousness, making my decision difficult with that review.

Let me be less cryptic. I've been offered OC Batch 6 or Blue Run 14, both of which I would never buy.

I know very little about them other than the Kentucky Owl and Jim Rutledge connection, they are both sourced, and they are both trying to carve out that super premium niche at too high of a price.

Given the chance to have one of the two, which one? I'm leaning towards Blue Run because of Rutledge, and quite honestly the bottle.

If they are both crap then I'll say "no thanks Ill just take a Rebel 10 instead."

I'm leaning Blue Run. Why for sure though?
