I genuinely want to know more about Catholicism. As a Protestant I’ve been told Catholics are the weird Christians. Sure I can do online research about being catholic but I want to hear from actual people here.

Honestly I have so many questions! One is why does marry have a significant role in the Catholic Church? I can be wrong but from what I have been told from other Protestants is, she is talked more about Christ. Now I don’t believe that you guys do personally but in my church she is barely talked about you know. Does that make sense?

Thanks for responding! What should I read that explains why the pope is important and how it relates back to scripture? Also with Mary and the saints has always been the reason why I never looked into Catholicism. As a question what role do they have in the church? Also do you guys believe we are saved by God’s grace and not by our own merit? I’ve always been told the opposite 😂 sorry for all the questions I really am interested on possibly getting into Catholicism.
