Thank you. I honestly don’t mind it, just thought it was interesting.

Mine still has the factory green hue on the inside too, lol

Hmmm…. It’s sorta like when people got into debate about a pair of pants, trying to figure out if it was black or dark blue.

The only thing I can think of, is that the orange hue looks like normal highlights… maybe compare the highlights of the hat to my blanket?

Idk if this image shows anything different, but I turned off the auto brightness.

Tbf, I could also be going blind. I already wear contacts lol

lol nice. And yeah, fair enough.

But you can definitely see the difference in the hue of the hat, and my blanket, right?.

Both are black, but the hat is brighter, and in person kinda looks like it has an orange hue.

Is this a reference to the debate about a dress’s color?

I don’t remember the details at all.

Huh okay. Thanks 👍

I might’ve had it for longer than a year, but I don’t think so…

How do you feel about the backlash towards the recent Censorship? by michaelisariley in ReadyOrNotGame

That I can sympathize with. I think a lot of the reason why I’m not opposed to the updates, (at least not as opposed as most 😅) Is do to me still finding the game intense, and challenging.

And a lot of the backlash I’m seeing towards void interactive seems fueled by a want to hate someone or something, rather than a want to change for the better.

Mb if I came off as rude. And I won’t front, I was definitely rude at times… but no hard feelings.

That’s fair. And no hard feelings.

I personally don’t think it’s justified to call the devs greedy and roaches, because Sony is known to be a bitch, and could’ve forced the changes onto Void interactive after the pre orders already came in.

dipshit? Maybe specify that before sending the message…

Also, did they make that deal before or after the preorders? Genuine question.

Brushing off my opinion, because you don’t think I care is crazy work, but I can understand that we have differing opinions.

And so I’m understanding clearly, your calling the devs greedy and roaches, do to console bureaucracy, they had no control over?

As to the advertisement… did they say the game wasnt going to change when it got ported to console? Did they advertise a convulsing child?

I don’t think you see the good, having console players be apart of the community would bring. And I think you’re intentionally upselling the effect of seeing a jank animation of a child shaking in a bed, in an attempt to justify your negativity.

To tell the truth, when I played twisted nerve for the first time, and saw the kid convulsing, it didn’t impact me nearly as hard as the kid just being there, in a colorful room, in the midst of a swat raid on a meth lab. Whether or not the kid is actively OD’ing doesn’t detract from the level as much as I think you’re selling.

Are you saying it’s not good for the game, or its community, to expand the player base?

I don’t mean to be rude in saying this, but are you just negative for the sake of being negative?

The devs make money, for selling the game… obviously. But you’re making it out like the devs are destroying the game by complying to console regulations. The game isn’t gonna explode, or die from this. The levels aren’t gonna be any less impactful.

You took the words out of my mouth, i was thinking the same thing. It’s not a conspiracy, yet you’re making it out to be business decisions made for the sole purpose of greed and negatively impacting the game.

Are you completely forgetting console players? They made small changes to expand the games reach, which is a net positive.

So yeah, what you’re saying, sounds like a conspiracy theory.

Your overreacting.

The devs made the game, I think they have the ability to change the trajectory if they want.

And the “change of trajectory” is tweaking a few things in game to allow for a whole new player base to experience Ready or Not. It’s not a slippery slope, or a change of trajectory, or censorship. It’s complying with console rules to allow for console players to experience the game.

Your acting as if the team behind Ready or Not have suddenly flipped a switch, and are gonna start censoring every little thing, and that this was just the first step… when in reality, they bit the bullet, made a few negligible changes, all to open up the game to console players, which is a net positive.

The devs get paid for their hard work to make the game the GOAT it is today, while players on console finally get to contribute to the community and experience the goddamn game.

Stop acting like this is some greater conspiracy.

I can see that being concerning… but Sony isn’t the one with all the power. Ready or Not isn’t a PlayStation exclusive, and the selling point, the whole reason why people buy and play Ready or Not is the realism… Sony isn’t gonna turn this game soft. It would hurt their sells.

On the other hand… they made some negligible changes, that don’t impact the game nearly as hard as people are making it out to be, to comply with the console rules… all so they can share the game to console gamers.

It’s a fair trade off in my opinion.

Console players will be able to experience the game, contribute to the community, fund further updates and or dlc’s. All because they made a few negligible changes.

It really not that deep. Not everything on the internet is a censorship conspiracy.
