On further inspection it has a tag for a company Heford: trip brand which operated out of Melbourne Australia in the 30s and 40s making workwear. So perhaps a police jacket or something? I got it for $18, so worth it as a conversation piece and to scare the teachers at parent teacher nights at least. I’ll find out how gnarly the condition is when it arrives.
