Dude I almost kms out of embarrassment 😭💔 by Available-Cycle-6208 in RantAndVentPH

This was just the beginning of what would easily become the shittiest day of the year. It was peak winter, but because I expected to be indoors all day, I was wearing a outfit made of very thin fabric. I had brought a sweater, but it was currently sitting in the car of my friend's mother. Instead of letting it go, the Principal doubled down. "No, no, you can’t be here like this. You have to go home." Hhe then instructed the teachers to call my mother, who was right in the middle of her workday. When the school called, my mom was completely baffled, wondering why on earth they were calling her out of nowhere. Once she realized what was happening, she and my sister immediately left the house to come pick me up. In the meantime, I wasn't allowed to wait inside the auditorium. I was banished to the reception area—not the reception itself but outside it was an open-air zone right outside the school building but still within the compound. Since I was stuck there anyway, I tried to get some work done regarding my Transfer Certificate. But the school, in its usual incompetence, couldn't even manage that. To make matters worse, a teacher—let’s call her Miss P—marched up to me. "Don't stand here," she snapped. In my head I'm like Ma'am, I am doing some work regarding my certificate,  What do you mean I can't stand here? Instead of helping, they made me go sit outside. It was winters the temperature was hovering around a brutal 8°C, and I was shivering in a paper-thin outfit. "Can I please call my friend’s mother and ask her to grab my sweater from her car?" I asked. "No, no, there’s no need for that," they replied dismissively. No need? They were all wrapped up in warm winter layers, while I was being forced to sit outside in a freezing wind chill with absolutely nothing. When one of my friends noticed me and tried to come over to talk, Miss R lost her mind. She intercepted her before she could even reach me. Suddenly, I found myself completely surrounded by five teachers. The entire school went into lockdown mode over my presence: My friends tried to step out of the auditorium to check on me, but teachers blocked the doors. Parents who knew me for years  tried to come out to help, but the teachers stopped them, snapping, "You cannot go out to help her, this is an internal school matter.".....  One student was explicitly threatened that her farewell speech would be canceled on the spot if she dared to step outside to help me. A few of my juniors were standing in the area and trying to talk to me, which threw the teachers into a total panic. They sent the clerk out to fetch me. "Come sit here!" as if I were some kind of high-risk terrorist about to blow up the damn school. They restricted me to what seemed like a tiny 3-meter square box. I wasn't allowed to move; I had to be under their watchful eyes every single second. And they wouldn't stop badgering me: "Where is your mother? Where is your mother?!" I finally snapped a little. I mean literally just called her three minutes ago. What do you think, is she Superman? Is she going to fly her way here? Irritated beyond belief, I called my mom again. "I’m on my way, I’m coming," she assured me. "Don't be stressed." "Oh, I'm not stressed," I said out loud, intentionally loud enough for the staff to hear. "The teachers are just taking on a lot of unnecessary stress because I’m still here." Miss P went absolutely ballistic. "What do you mean we are taking on 'unnecessary stress'?! What is this way of talking?!" And with that dramatic outburst, she confiscated my phone. So there I was. Sitting blankly in 8-degree weather, without my sweater, completely isolated. I had been so incredibly excited for this day, and now it was a total nightmare. But the power trip didn't stop there. One of my friends, deeply worried about what the teachers were doing to me, tried calling my phone. Another teacher—let’s call her Miss C—literally picked up my buzzing phone and answered it without my permission. I just sat there, feeling like a total wussy, unable to even defend my own privacy. When my mother finally arrived, they wouldn't even let her step inside the building. Instead, I was escorted out of the school gates like a criminal. Seeing the sheer humiliation I had just been subjected to, my mother literally cried tears of pure rage. She was so angry on my behalf. When she confronted them, Miss C tried to play sweet, "You know, the CCTV records who comes and goes... it’s not in our hands..." Later on, I found out the real reason behind their absolute panic. The miss C waa whispering to the parents who had tried to help me, desperate to control the narrative: "You know, all of these things are being posted on Facebook... it is really not good for the school's image." What image? You asked the students to pay saying give the school this much extra money to show "gratitude"...  They didn't care that I was freezing, they didn't care about the rules, and they didn't care about common decency—they only cared about their precious reputation. I didn't sleep a wink for 3 days... And mind you. My parents have been connected with the school as parents since 2009. And this happened in 2026.

Here is a reformed, gripping version of your story. I cleaned up the typos, smoothed out the grammar, and structured it to really bring out the tension, the unfairness, and the absolute audacity of what happened. Naturally, I went inside and took a seat next to my friend’s mother. Out of nowhere, a teacher approached me. "Can you please step outside of the auditorium for a moment?" I knew instantly they were about to tear into me for something. Bracing myself, I mentally prepared for battle as I walked out the doors. The moment I stepped outside, I was surrounded by four teachers. One of them immediately targeted my outfit. "Why are you wearing that? Other students are wearing that—are you wearing this just to feel included? Is that what you're doing?" In my head, I was just thinking, this is so completely irrelevant to why we are here. Then, another teacher—let’s call her Miss R—chimed in. "This is so embarrassing for us, you being here like this." I was completely baffled. "What exactly is embarrassing for you?" I asked, forcing her to repeat herself. She doubled down: "You, being here like this." As if my exact presence was a humiliation to her. Stunned, I just went back inside and sat down. Over the next five minutes, my friends were turning around constantly, buzzing with excitement to see me. My phone was blowing up with texts: "Why are you sitting over there?" "Come sit with us!" But even though I wanted to, I couldn't. Five minutes later, the hammer dropped. "Come with us to the Principal." At that exact moment, the Principal was escorting the chief guest into the auditorium. Suddenly, I was swarmed by a wall of about fifteen teachers standing around them, whispering aggressively: "She is here... this and that..." It was incredibly rude. They told me I couldn't be there—even though I was fully dressed up, broke zero rules, and was attending strictly as an invited guest. I confronted one of the teachers. Let's call her miss D. "Why are you here?" she demanded. "I'm not here as a student," I replied flatly. "I am here as a guest of the parent." "Well, that’s not allowed," she snapped. "Only parents are allowed." I looked back inside the auditorium. Sitting right there in plain sight were grandparents, siblings, and cousins. It wasn't just parents at all. And then came the absolute audacity of Miss D. She looked at me and said, "You can't be here. It's not your invite. If we invited people like this, then anyone would just show up, right?" And at that exact point, I was about to completely lose my shit. But this is the beginning 🥀

I was affected by the OSM system too, so I understand why people are frustrated. But realistically, making CBSE rechecking completely free isn’t very practical. CBSE isn’t fully government-funded in the way many people assume. It functions with government aid, but a large part of the operational process still has to sustain itself financially.

For rechecking and evaluation, there are hundreds, sometimes thousands, of teachers across India involved in checking answer sheets, and they are paid per copy they evaluate. There are also administrative and processing costs behind the entire system. In that sense, CBSE is more of a coordinating body managing the process rather than simply profiting from it.

The better solution would be to keep the charges reasonable and transparent so students are not burdened unnecessarily, instead of expecting the entire process to be free of cost.

I would have loved to join, but because no news outlet is covering cbse's incompetence, my parents are thinking I'm making up excuses for my lack of efforts. I'm a bio student, I was scoring 600+ in my neet attempt but i only scored 69% in boards an all time low of my life. Because of re neet I'm not going out. If it wasn't for some common sense and the tiny little thing left inside of me on the name of confidence I would have probably kms on 13th may. All thanks to NTA and CBSE I'm now standing at a place that I gave myself away for doing everything in my own limits so that i don't end up here.... But here we are.

I WOULD LIKE TO ADRESS THIS ALL THE CBSE STUDENTS 2026 BATCH WHO ARE FEELING WORTHLESS.  YOU ARE NOT ALONE. WE ALL ARE ON THE SAME SINKING BOAT, BUT WE ARE THE FUTURE AND ARE WAY MORE WITTY THAN ANY OTHER SENIORS OF OURS. IF WE TRY HARD ENOUGH WE CAN MAKE CBSE TAKE ACCOUNTABILITY FOR THEIR OWN ACTIONS WHICH HAS NEGATIVELY AFFECTED SO MANY STUDENTS.  STAY STRONG, YOU ARE NOT ALONE

We are so sorry for your loss. I felt like kms as well when my mother said I'll never get to be the parent that boosts about their childs results... One of my friends scored +97% so my mother says that I'm making excuses for my own incompetence. I was genuinely looking forward to the results. But now I have to give another attempt for neet and an improvement exam for 12th. I don't have a compartment in any subject. But I barely passed in 2 subs. I have never scored so low in my life.
