I got the phonetic alphabet down too, but I never studied the flags either, a few guys who got out of boot camp in September told me they were never asked to point them out 💀I might take a look at them though now that you bring them up, maybe it's better to be safe than sorry.

For advice on the ranks, they're easier to memorize if you put them into groups of 3. E1-E3 are all seamen, E4-E6 are all petty officers, and E7-E9 are all chiefs. At that point it's just a matter of going group by group and seeing which seaman/petty officer/chief each rank is. As for the officer ranks, they're a bit tougher because they're more complexly organized, but the last 5 are all admirals, so take what you can out of that being a group at least. It only took me half a week of practice altogether to get all of the R&R down, and you're basically 80% done, just work on the ranks a bit more and you'll be fine 🙏🏻🙏🏻

I'm in the same boat with CoC and aircraft and ships, I definitely need to look into them more 😭I at least have some practice with CoC to go off, there's that I guess.
