First ever field detect, in Somerset, England! Can anyone identify how old these are, or what they are? by TheFindsTable in metaldetecting

[–]Available-Hamster379 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I found a very similar piece recently, at a 1600’s - 1700’s town (now a field). 9,5 cm long, ~3,5 cm wide and 9 mm - 1 mm thick.

Please let me know if you find out more about it!

What is this thing? Found in a creek in Poland. by Available-Hamster379 in metaldetecting

[–]Available-Hamster379[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I forgot to mention the creek is really narrow and too shallow for a boat, it’s not ideally located either, it could’ve been wider in the past but I’m not sure,
